Chandrayaan-3: India Makes Historic Landing Near Moon’s South Pole
By Geeta Pandey BBC News, Delhi
India has made history as its Moon mission becomes the first to land in the lunar south pole region. With this, India joins an elite club of countries to achieve a soft landing on the Moon, after the US, the former Soviet Union and China.
The Vikram lander from Chandrayaan-3 successfully touched down as planned at 18:04 local time (12:34 GMT).
Celebrations have broken out across the country, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying “India is now on the Moon”.
“We have reached where no other country could. It’s a joyous occasion,” he added. Mr Modi was watching the event live from South Africa where he is attending the Brics summit.

India’s achievement comes just days after Russia’s Luna-25 spacecraft spun out of control and crashed into the Moon.
The crash also put the spotlight on how difficult it is to land in the south pole region where the surface is “very uneven” and “full of craters and boulders”.
India’s second lunar mission, which also attempted to soft-land there in 2019, was unsuccessful - its lander and rover were destroyed, though its orbiter survived.

This Fall, Older Adults Should Protect Their Health
With cold and flu season upon us, it’s time to protect yourself, not only from those seasonal threats, but also from other health risks. “During the holidays, our lives get very busy with family and friends,” said Dr. J.B. Sobel, chief medical officer for Cigna Healthcare’s Medicare business.
“Before then, please take time to ensure you get the preventive care you need to stay healthy.” Preventive care is critical for everybody, but particularly for older adults, and especially in fall when risks can increase, Sobel said.
Recommendations vary based on age, gender and health status, but the following are some of the most common for seniors, according to Sobel.
Vaccinations
There are a number of vaccines older adults need to consider to protect themselves. Flu and pneumonia, for example, are among
some of the most common causes of senior deaths. There is no “onesize-fits-all” approach to vaccination. Timing and frequency vary, depending on your health history.
Ask your health care provider which vaccines are appropriate for you.
• Flu. This vaccine is administered annually, generally before the end of October, and is designed to match the latest circulating flu strains.
• Pneumonia. Administration varies based on health history. If you’re 65 or older and you’ve never had the vaccine before, then you’ll likely need two shots, which are administered a year apart.
• Shingles. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends two doses of the shingles vaccine for healthy adults aged 50 and older, spaced two to six months apart, to prevent shingles and related complications.
• COVID-19. Ask your doctors about current recommendations
for prevention of COVID-19 infections.
• RSV. Earlier this year, the Federal Drug Administration approved two separate vaccines to address respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in older adults. RSV, a common respiratory infection, usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms, but can be more severe in older adults and children. Talk to your doctor about whether you should get an RSV vaccine.
Health Screenings
The following health screenings are commonly recommended for older adults.
• Mammogram. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women in the United States, according to the CDC. Every woman is at risk, and risk increases with age. Fortunately, breast cancer can often be treated successfully when found early. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends
women 50 to 74-years-old at average risk get a mammogram every two years.
• Colorectal screening. Colorectal cancer risk increases with age. Screenings can find precancerous polyps early, so they can be removed before they turn into cancer. The USPSTF recommends colorectal cancer screening for adults age 45 to 75. Though colonoscopy is the most comprehensive test, there are other options you may consider with the help of your provider.
• Bone density scan. USPSTF recommends women aged 65 and older, and women 60 and older at increased risk, be routinely screened for osteoporosis, a disease in which bones become weak and brittle. Screening may facilitate treatment that helps prevent fractures.
• Eye exam. Routine eye exams can identify early signs of eye disease that are more likely as people age. People with diabetes in particular are prone to retinopathy, which leads to vision loss. It’s recommended that people with diabe-
tes have annual retinal screenings. • Mental health checkup. Many people experience seasonal depression during fall. Mental health is strongly linked to physical health. Talk to your health care provider about both, including your personal and family history. They can connect you with additional mental health resources.
To prevent unpleasant surprises, Sobel suggests talking with your health care provider, pharmacist or insurer about preventive care costs. Fortunately, costs are often covered fully by Medicare or Medicare Advantage, he said.

Small Business Tips To Launch And Thrive
Running a small business is one of the most challenging journeys you can embark on, according to those in the know.
“Being a small business owner within an ever-changing landscape can feel intimidating without support,” says Michelle Van Slyke, senior vice president of sales and marketing at The UPS Store, Inc. “Fortunately, a variety of resources exist to help business launch and thrive.”
With more than 5,100 locations across North America, The UPS Store network comprises the nation’s largest franchise system of retail shipping, postal, print and business service centers, and is leveraging its expertise to offer new and seasoned entrepreneurs these tips to help their small business thrive:
1. Find a one-stop shop. One of the first steps in creating a business is sending out paperwork for
the business formation and acquiring the licenses or permits needed. Save time and effort by using a one-stop small business services shop to have documents notarized, faxed, copied, scanned and securely shredded.
2. Simplify correspondence. Consider using a private mailbox rental, so you can give your small business a real street address, as well as establish a central location to pick up mail and packages. Consider a mailbox service that offers pack-
age acceptance from all carriers, receipt confirmation, mail forwarding and holding, and easy delivery updates. .
3. Get out the word. Be sure to regularly let your customers and prospective customers know when you’ve added new products and services to your portfolio with both print and digital marketing. Update the company website, blog and social media channels regularly and be sure to use tried-and-true methods of promotion as well, like di-
rect mail services.
The UPS Store, which can help you design, print and mail postcards, flyers and other marketing materials, offers two direct mail options, one that provides total market coverage, and another, more targeted option to reach a specific list of customers.
4. Don’t pay full price for business services. Some vendors may have discounts for qualifying businesses, so be sure to inquire about that.
You can also access deals and promotions on packing, shipping, logistics management, printing, marketing consultation, secure mailboxes and more by joining The UPS Store email program.
5. Get inspired by the work of other small business owners. The UPS Store and Inc. Magazine are teaming up to host the 2023 Small Biz Challenge, which offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs to win up to $25,000, one-on-one mentoring
with a business expert, an editorial feature in an upcoming issue of Inc. Magazine and Inc.com, and a trip to the final event in New York City.
Recognizing the inspiring business skills and expertise of entrepreneurs since 2019, this year’s competition required entrepreneurs to demonstrate their unique problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
“Every day we see entrepreneurs overcome obstacles on their path to success. Our goal was to find the most unstoppable business owners across the country,” says Van Slyke.
Running a small business presents new challenges every day. However, finding the right resources can help you focus on the big picture, so you can grow your business and see your vision through. (StatePoint)

5 Ways To Trim Home Energy Bills
After the mortgage, utility costs, including electricity, likely make up one of the most significant portions of monthly budgets for the typical American household.
In fact, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the average residential electric bill in the United States is $143.
However, reducing your family’s energy costs is possible by following some smart, practical, cost-cutting tips from the heating and cooling experts at Mitsubishi Electric. Consider these ways to help dial down your energy bills.
Service HVAC Systems Regularly
To ensure the best performance and efficiency possible, find a licensed contractor to keep your heating and cooling system wellmaintained and serviced throughout the year.
School Supplies For 1,400 Homeless Students!
There are some tasks many homeowners can handle on their own, like keeping outdoor units free of debris and changing air filters. Some filters are removable and washable, saving you money.
However, bringing in a professional 1-2 times a year for maintenance and to ensure proper function of ductwork and electrical components is also essential.
Use Appliances During Non-Peak Hours
Rather than using stoves, ovens and clothing dryers in the afternoon hours, consider doing so early in the morning or late in the evening.
Peak time for many electricity providers is noon-6 p.m., meaning using these appliances outside of this timeframe when conventional heating and cooling systems are likely running full throttle can help lower energy costs.

Trendy Takes On Kitchen And Bath Design
Designing a new home, remodeling your own or simply rethinking aesthetics and decor all require a little imagination and a lot of inspiration.
A quick online search brings up hundreds if not thousands of thoughtful ways to make your kitchen or bathroom match your desired style from modern to traditional or anything in between.
All those results can be slightly overwhelming, however. Rather than having a go at it alone, rely on the professionals to guide you toward looks that are all the rage and fit a variety of budgets.
Consider these on-trend design ideas from the kitchen and bathroom experts at Wellborn Cabinet, whose whole-home solutions double as functional and beautiful.
Kitchen Trends
Let it Flow: Open concepts have become quite common as it allows the kitchen to feel like one large room where loved ones and guests can intermingle as opposed to an enclosed space.
This flowing openness lends continuous visibility to the area ranging from the (seemingly) always active kitchen to gathering spaces in the dining and living rooms. An open floor plan also helps connect design aesthetics
from each room to the next.
Opt for Concealed Storage: Pots, pans, knives and all your favorite kitchen gadgets need hidden somewhere. Rather than taking up valuable pantry space, turn to a stylish storage solution from Wellborn Cabinet’s line of pullout cabinets that give you the room you need.
With options ranging from pullout peg boards to sleek tray dividers, these clever
contraptions can help you stay organized while making functionality beautiful.
Incorporate Smart Tech: Trends aren’t exclusively about aesthetics – practicality via technology is equally important for those looking to update their kitchens to the 21st century.
Devices like smart refrigerators that allow you to take inventory from an app, smart lighting that brightens and dims to save on electricity and voice assistants that help you keep track of recipes are all trendy paths toward a top-of-the-line kitchen.
Bring in Organic Touches: Organic modern is in, which means adding organic touches using natural materials like stone and wood in your cabinets, countertops, flooring and more.
Achieve a warm vibe with these organic elements paired with a neutral color palette (soft whites and earthy tones) and natural light.
Bathroom Trends
Add Accents that Pop: Obvious accents like bold pops of color and unique patterns come
to mind, but you can also make your bathroom stand out by experimenting with materials, accessories and shapes.
Think eye-catching cabinet hardware, fun mirror shapes and open-shelf decor that grabs attention without overdoing it.
Show Off Wood Vanities: As an important area you’ll use to get ready for each day, vanities should be purposeful and practical but can also brandish your personal style.
Types and sizes may vary but one look seeing an upward trend, according to Wellborn Cabinet’s design experts, is the use of natural tones and textures like woodgrain to complement the rise in popularity of warm colors in recent years.
Go for Decorative Lighting: The same tired light fixtures in bathrooms can feel drab and dreary.
Evaluate the amount of natural light available (often at a premium in bathrooms) and decide if you can go more subdued or need to effectively and efficiently illuminate the area.
Bell-shaped, wall-mounted sconces next to mirrors are in vogue, as are glass globes to complement ample natural light. (Family Features)

pathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and scleroderma associated ILD, two types of interstitial lung disease (ILD) that can make breathing difficult.
During September, which is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, the American Lung Association, with support from Boehringer Ingelheim, is providing support and resources to those impacted by ILD. As part of the educational campaign, they are sharing these important facts and insights:
What is ILD? Interstitial lung disease is an umbrella term used for a large group of diseases that cause scarring (fibrosis) of the lungs. The scarring causes stiffness that makes it difficult to breathe and get oxygen to the bloodstream. Lung damage from ILDs is often irreversible and gets worse over time, however treatment is available to help relieve symptoms.
Smoking can not only cause ILDs, but can make the condition much worse, which is why anyone diagnosed is strongly encouraged to quit. Additionally, people with autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma -- also called systemic sclerosis -- are at an increased risk of developing an ILD. Unfortunately, in the case of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the cause is unknown.
What are the symptoms of ILD?
The most common symptom of all ILDs is shortness of breath. This is often accompanied by a dry cough, chest discomfort, fatigue and occasionally, weight loss.
How is ILD diagnosed? Healthcare providers test for ILD through a chest X-ray or CT scan. A lung function test may be used to measure total lung capacity, which may have deteriorated due to the ILD. In more serious cases, and to diagnose a specific type of ILD,

What To Know About Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
Each year, an estimated 500-1,000 people nationwide are diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). While there’s currently no cure, treatment can help control symptoms and improve quality of life.
The American Lung Association, with support from Janssen, launched a new campaign to ensure patients get an earlier, accurate PAH diagnosis and feel empowered to participate in discussions regarding treatment options. As part of the campaign, they’re also sharing insights from Lindsay T., a patient living with PAH.
• PAH defined: PAH is a progressive disorder and one form of a broader condition known as pulmonary hypertension, which is high blood pressure in the lungs. In PAH, this increased pressure in the vessels is caused by obstruction in the small arteries in the lung, and can occur for a variety of reasons.
• Causes: While the cause of PAH
is usually unknown, about 15-20% of patients have inherited the condition. Most common in women ages 30-60, PAH disproportionately impacts African American and Hispanic women.
• Symptoms: Individuals are initially asymptomatic and then begin to experience symptoms similar to other common lung diseases, such as shortness of breath and fatigue. For this reason, PAH can be difficult to diagnose -- 74% of patients are diagnosed in advanced stages of the disease. Eventually, symptoms can include swelling of the feet, legs, abdomen and neck, dizziness and fainting spells, chest pain, heart palpitations, and lips and fingers turning blue. “When I was 23, I started noticing that when I would walk, I would get out of breath really easily. At first, I thought I was just out of shape. It took about a year for my doctors to say it was pulmonary arterial hypertension,” says Lindsay.
• Diagnosis: To confirm diagnosis,
a right heart catheterization is needed to measure pressure in the heart and lungs. Providers will typically rule out other common diseases with less invasive tests first. An accurate diagnosis of the correct type of pulmonary hypertension helps ensure prompt, optimal treatment. When PAH is suspected, patients should be referred to a PAH specialist at an accredited center. Left untreated, PAH compromises heart function, which can lead to heart failure and even death.
• Treatment: Patients should see their specialist regularly for structured evaluations. This allows for
tailored treatment plans. Treatment may include supportive therapies, such as supplemental oxygen, pulmonary rehabilitation and diuretic medications, as well as specific treatment, including medications that dilate blood vessels and affect the vasculature to reduce the increased resistance of blood flow that contributes to right-sided heart failure. There are many clinical trials occurring right now. Those interested should speak with their healthcare provider or visit Clinicaltrails.gov.
• Tracking: Tracking symptoms is a vital part of self-management of the condition. “One of the most important things to do while living with PAH is to learn to listen to your body because it’ll tell you
if you need something, and that’s information that you can talk about with your healthcare team,” says Lindsay, who after noticing worsening symptoms, spoke to her specialist who then started her on a new medication. Lindsay also advises patients to become their own advocates. “Research empowered me to take control of my diagnosis and actually make decisions for my healthcare,” she says.
• Support: Support groups give patients a chance to connect with others living with their condition. Patients can also learn more at Lung. org/PAH.
While PAH is a serious, potentially life-threatening condition, proper treatment can make the disease manageable. After finding the right treatment plan, Lindsay is thriving.“This life I lead today, I’m physically active. I teach high school algebra. I’m successfully managing my PAH. It’s not easy, but it’s possible,” says Lindsay. (StatePoint)

Tips For Parents And Kids To Stay Organized This Back-To-School Season
The start of a new school year carries with it so much potential, particularly when students -- and their parents -- stay organized. Amid the back-to-school chaos, use these tips and gear recommendations to help keep everyone on track, whether they are at school, at home or on-the-go:
Notes and Big Ideas
Color-coded notebooks and binders, along with labeled dividers, can help you keep your coursework straight and your note-taking organized. Take your color-coding a step further by extending the concept to the tools you write with.
Pilot Pen’s G2 gel pen is a go-to for busy students and parents with its smooth, long-lasting gel ink that’s able to keep up with busy schedules. Science has shown that writing a to-do list with an appealing color can lead to greater productivity. Inspired by color trends and color psychology, the G2 Harmony Collection colors were developed
to promote balance, relaxation and hope, helping students get more done, stay positive and achieve their highest potential this school year. G2 is available in four point sizes and over 35 colors, so it’s ideal for note-taking, writing down big ideas, goal-setting and more.
Planning and Scheduling
With the back-toschool season comes a flurry of planning and scheduling -- from after-school activities to field trips. Parents and kids alike can stay on top of all the lastminute changes with a desk calendar and an erasable pen. Pilot’s FriXion line of erasable pens and markers write smooth and erase clean, so you can edit plans as often as they change. It’s much easier to remember tasks and events when you’ve recorded the details in a central location, so start a habit of entering all activi-
ties into your calendar as soon as they’re planned.
The smooth gel ink and precise point of the FriXion Synergy Clicker is great for detailed planning, while FriXion Fineliner brings colorful, mistake-free writing to notes and calendars.

Use organizational tools anywhere school supplies are stored, such as lockers, backpacks and home study areas. Simple shelving and magnetic door organizers can maximize storage potential in any locker, whereas a backpack with multiple pockets allows you to arrange items by subject.
Periodically empty your backpack completely; you may be surprised by the loose papers you find at the bottom. Use the opportunity to reorder items as-needed and to wipe down the bag’s interior. Parents and kids should keep clutter to a minimum in home workspaces with fil-
ing systems and supply trays. This will help prevent important papers and other items from going missing and improve productivity.
Down to the Details
If you’re smudge-prone, use quickdry ink for effortlessly clean lines. When it’s time to study, this will make reading your notes a lot easier. Pilot’s Precise Rolling Ball, available in capped and retractable styles, features a precision tip -- great for organized notes and homework.

Tips To Get Your Student Prepped For College Entrance Exams
Is the SAT or ACT on the horizon for your high schooler? A lot of emphasis is placed on college entrance exams, and your child may be anxious about their scores. To adequately prepare for the SAT or ACT, consider these tips:
• Practice, practice, practice: Encourage your student to take free online practice tests early and often. Not only is this an effective way to get familiar with the types of questions that will be on the test, it can give your child a sense of where they stand currently and help them identify areas where they may need some extra review. It’s helpful to simulate test day as much as possible. Have them take the practice test in a quiet place and time each portion of the test accurately.
• Have the right STEM tools: Acing the math portion is easier when
you fully understand the principles behind the test questions. Fortunately, you can affordably equip your student with tools that facilitate that understanding. Casio, dedicated to making STEM education more engaging, has developed the fx-CG50, a graphing calculator in the brand’s PRIZM line-up that
offers a color LCD with a full textbook-style display.
Jam-packed with features that enable students to solve the most challenging equations, it offers the ability to easily draw three dimensional graphs such as planes, cylinders and spheres, and view
them from various angles in order to better analyze their shape. Plus, a cross-section option and special zoom function can be used for greater analysis.
• Build vocabulary: An expansive vocabulary is not just useful in the real world, it can greatly improve a student’s chances of success in the English, reading and writing sections of the exam. Getting familiar with some of the more frequently used words on the test is important.
However, it’s best to break up the studying into chunks. Select a few words to master each day with flash cards.
Hopefully, students will start to see etymological patterns that will help them make educated guesses when they don’t know a word.
• Take a break: It’s tempting to assume a last-minute study session
the evening before the exam is going to make or break their performance, but a mental breather is actually a better use of time. Urge your child to get a good night’s sleep not just the night before the test, but that entire week.
Pre-test jitters may lead to insomnia, but having a solid foundation of rest will help ensure your student is alert on test day. The morning of the test, encourage them to eat a healthy, filling breakfast and do activities that will warm up their brain, such as reading a book or solving a crossword puzzle.
Sufficient preparation and great study tools can alleviate college entrance exam anxieties so that your student walks into their testing center with confidence. (StatePoint)
Teach Kids Kindness And Gratitude With Thank You Notes
Nearly 60% of Americans say they send thank you notes at least occasionally to show their appreciation for a gift or favor, according to a recent poll from AmericanGreetings.com.
While writing thank yous might seem time consuming, it’s actually a wonderful opportunity to teach children important life lessons such as kindness, gratitude and empathy.
Whether they are thanking their new teacher, their favorite fall sports coach, or a friend or family member, here are a few tips and tricks for creating meaningful – yet simple – thank yous with kids this back-to-school season and beyond.
Focus on the Positive
It’s important to give children a “why.” Parents should explain that when people receive a thank you note, it not only makes them feel good, but it lets them know that the gift arrived safely and was appreciated.
By placing the emphasis on the
person who gave them the gift – rather than on themselves – it changes thank yous from a painpoint to a positive. Make it a Fun with Devices
Kids love devices – so put their screen time to good use with apps like American Greetings Creatacard for iPad.
The app offers a fun, easy and engaging tool to make and send greeting cards. Plus, receiving them will be just as exciting – as homemade cards from kids are enjoyed by 93% of Americans!
Whether making a card from
scratch, coloring a card or customizing a pre-made design, the Creatacard app allows kids to explore their imaginations. Simply choose from a variety of virtual (and messfree) tools, such as pencils, paint, markers, photo frames, stamps and stickers to add designs, images and personalized messages.
Best of all, the app is free to download, and cards can be sent instantly via email, text, messaging apps or shared on social media.
Power of Personalization
According to the American Greetings poll, personalized messages
are the most important and enjoyed part of thank you notes.
Parents should encourage kids to think about what made the gift so special and be sure to communicate that message.
Was it something they really needed or wanted? Will they use the check or money for a specific purpose? Spending a few extra minutes personalizing each note will go a long way to show their sincere appreciation.
Timing is Everything – The Sooner the Better!
It’s proper etiquette to be timely in sending thank you notes. In fact, 54% of Americans say they should be sent within one week of receiving a gift. Build good habits with
kids by sending thank yous as soon as possible.
It may be helpful to plan ahead and establish a set time within a week of the celebration for children to create and send their cards. And luckily, if you’re sending digital greetings, they’ll arrive instantly, save money on postage, and save time by eliminating the need to find current street addresses.
Teaching kids the importance of properly showing gratitude is a life skill they can take with them as they grow older.
Starting small with thank you notes can be an invaluable step to becoming a kinder and more gracious person. (StatePoint)

Tips To Make Your Back-To-School Shopping Game Plan
Staying on top of consumer trends can make for a better shopper experience this back-to-school season, helping you land the best deals on the right products at the right time.
The results of a new survey from Sensormatic Solutions, a leading retail solutions provider of Johnson Controls, show that despite new shopping options popularized during the pandemic, such as buyonline-pick-up-in-stores (BOPIS), 79% of respondents plan to conduct their back-to-school shopping in stores this year, a slight increase from 2022.
The most important factors when shopping in-store include price (91%), product availability (75%) and a safe and comfortable store environment (44%).
“Consumers are still viewing instore shopping, particularly in the back-to-school season, as an experience to be enjoyed rather than an
errand,” says Kim Melvin, global leader of marketing and communications at Sensormatic Solutions.
“Retailers are accommodating and encouraging this point of view, and it’s creating a better, more responsible, and more agile industry for customers and retailers alike.”
Consumers are also less worried about how the current U.S. econ-
omy will impact their back-toschool shopping budget than they were last year. Despite talk of a recession, 51% say their budget will not be impacted or that they even plan to spend more this year, a notable increase as compared to 43% in 2022. Consumers plan to spend the most on clothing and apparel (70%), shoes (58%) and school supplies (53%).
No matter how much you’ve budgeted for back-to-school shopping or what items you plan to spend the most on, you can use these top strategies from Sensormatic Solutions to make your back-to-school shopping experience successful and stress-free:
• 80% of respondents plan to begin their back-to-school shopping in July or August – an increase over last year – so don’t wait. If you’re like many shoppers, and price and product availability are heavily factored into your shopping habits, you may want to jump on the trend of shopping earlier in the season to ensure you’ll find the supplies you need at the best prices.
• Don’t worry about what days you plan to head to the store. Instore traffic is likely to be steady throughout the week, with 35% of consumers saying they’re more likely to shop on weekdays, 32% saying weekends and 33% saying
they have no preference.
• With 75% of respondents saying product availability is an important factor when shopping in-store, consider planning out your shopping list to ensure retailers have your items in-stock before you arrive.
Thankfully, technologies like inventory intelligence are making brick-and-mortar shopping more reliable and convenient.
For additional survey results and insights, visit https://www.sensormatic.com/resources/ar/2023/ back-to-school-survey-2023.
“Gearing up for a new school year is always exciting for both parents and kids. And with a bit of knowledge of how your fellow consumers plan to get their seasonal shopping done, you can develop smart shopping strategies,” says Melvin. (StatePoint)
5 Ways To Share Childhood Classics With Your Kids
In spite of returning to busy school-day schedules and neverending to-do lists, most families want to maintain a sense of connectedness all year round. Special moments with your family start by leaving behind that checklist, setting smartphones aside and saving responsibilities for tomorrow.
If you catch yourself reminiscing about the goodness you grew up on, turning back the clock and showing your kiddos what childhood was like for you is one way to foster a better connection with your kids. Throw it back to your childhood with these family-favorite activities to enjoy at the breakfast table, after school or over a weekend.
Read Favorite Books
Take it a more educational route and hook your children on a favorite novel, short story or book series.
You can introduce them to favorite genres, popular characters or specific authors then head to the
library to search the shelves.
In fact, you could be giving them a leg up on English class; literature from your days in the classroom might still be read in schools today.
Share the Goodness You Grew Up On
Childhood in the ’80s and ’90s meant school-day mornings with cartoons and delicious breakfasts. Classics like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms and Cheerios were good then and are even better now with 20% the daily recommended value of Vitamin D
– twice the previous amount. Vitamin D is essential for building and maintaining strong bones but is often under-consumed, according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, with 96% of all Americans ages 2 years and older falling short on this key nutrient.
“Cereal has the same great taste as when parents were kids and now even better nutrition,” said Amy Cohn, registered dietitian and senior nutrition manager at General Mills.
“Affordable, accessible nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated or break the bank – and it can be as easy as a bowl of cereal beloved by multiple generations.”
Get Outside and Explore
Tech devices from tablets to video game consoles often dominate kids’ free time, but you can open their minds to a whole new world with a little outdoor exploration. Climb aboard bicycles (and strap on those helmets) for a cruise around the neighborhood or enjoy bird watching from the comfort of the backyard.
If you’re on the adventurous side, gather a tent and s’mores supplies for a night or weekend in the great outdoors.
Watch Classic Movies
No VCR, no problem. A range of streaming services available at your fingertips means you can watch remastered classics just using a smart TV or casting device.
original superhero flick or comedy classic, an abundance of kidfriendly movies from the video rental days are ready to watch online.
Play Board Games
Another way to turn kids’ attention from screens to the physical world is to dust off those old board games for some fun at the dining room table.
Start with the basics like checkers or, with older children, jump straight into strategy-based brain games like chess for a dose of friendly competition.

5 Key Things To Do After Having A Baby
Becoming a new parent is a joyous occasion, but no matter how many parenting books you’ve read, nothing can completely prepare you for your baby’s arrival. With every pregnancy comes a long to-do list, but here are five tips to review after having a baby.
1. Start building an emergency fund.
Being financially prepared for anything can help protect your growing family. Managing your cash flow and setting aside a specified amount each month for an emergency fund will have your future self thanking you. Whether it ends
Baby Shower Registry-Building Tips And Ideas
3. Apply for your baby’s Social Security number and birth certificate. Social Security numbers (SSN) and birth certificates are not automatically generated upon birth. Nurses or the hospital will more than likely offer you the steps to apply for your baby’s SSN and to fill out the birth certificate. However, it is important to complete these items promptly to avoid a delay or issues in adding your baby as a dependent on tax forms, health plans and more.
4. Add your baby to your health plan and benefits. Most insurance plans allow 30 to
When expecting a little one, creating a registry is the most practical and fun way to ensure friends and family shower you with the items you want and need the most.
Kick the effort off with these registry-building tips and must-have items you may not have thought about including:
• Get practical:
Such practical items as diapers, baby wipes, an odor-locking diaper bin, nursing bras and burping cloths may not be the ones you’re most excited about receiving as gifts, but you’ll be relieved to have them the day you bring your baby home.
• Weigh your stroller needs:
Consider your lifestyle when selecting this big-ticket item. For example, if you want a streamlined stroller experience, you may want to opt for a full-sized model that can be used into the toddler years.

• Encourage growth: One of the most important items in your infant’s toy collection will be an activity gym that fosters development.
Laying under the arch of the 6-in-1 Tunnel of Fun, your baby will enjoy a rainbow of colors and batting at the dangling animal toys.
These sensory toys can be unclipped and attached to different parts of the three-foot tunnel to encourage crawling.
They can also be attached to strollers or packed into diaper bags for on-the-go crinkling, rattling and spinning.

This includes a machine-washable splash mat to place under the high chair, along with a stain-resistant, silicone bib that catches food.
• Build a library:
It’s never too early to introduce your child to the world of literature. One cool way to assemble your baby’s library is by suggesting that shower guests bring their favorite children’s book with them in lieu of a greeting card.
• Build a wardrobe:
Turn your shower into an oppor-

2. Review your life insurance plan. Although this big, exciting event just happened and the last thing you want to think about is something bad happening, it’s always better to be prepared. A set amount of money each month towards a life insurance plan can help your family in a worst-case scenario, providing financial security and the ability for your family to maintain their current lifestyle. Life insurance could pay for daycare to allow the surviving spouse to work, fund your child’s education and provide income replacement to help pay off a mortgage. 5. Start saving for college. It’s no secret that student loan debt is out of control. Putting away a set amount of money each month into a secure account can set up your child with a healthy debt-free financial future. If your child chooses to take an alternative path, they can use that money for a down payment on their first home. Be sure to discuss with an accountant the different long-term savings options available.
As new parents, you can provide all the TLC required for your new bundle of joy, but following these five steps will help set up you and your baby for success, no matter what life throws at you. (StatePoint)
If you’re athletic, you may prefer a jogger, which can be used as the name suggests, on a jog.
Keep in mind that certain strollers, such as joggers, are not intended for newborns, so read the manufacturer’s recommendations and consult your pediatrician.
• Diversifying your wish list:
When creating any gift registry, it’s considerate to include items of varying price points, so add smallticket items too, like bottle nipples, pacifiers and baby toiletries.
• Don’t forget tummy time:
Tummy time is a key part of baby’s day, helping strengthen neck, back and core muscles. In your registry, be sure to include a pillow that will make tummy time comfy, and that is suitable for multiple stages of development, starting at birth.
The fawn-shaped Prop & Play Tummy Time Pillow from VTech is not only adorable, its rattles, buttons and mirror will engage and entertain your baby, while intro-

Your registry should also include toys that hone motor skills, like the 2-in-1 Roll & Discover Roller Drum, which features motion-activated sounds and music, rewarding little ones when they crawl after it, along with gears to turn, rollers to spin and a slider to slide.
• Plan for mess-free meals:
tunity to design a fun and funky wardrobe for your baby. Transform one corner of the party into a craft zone.
Supply attendees with solid-colored onesies and fabric paints and embolden them to get creative.
As you anticipate your baby’s arrival, there is so much to do to prepare. These ideas can help you get started. (StatePoint)

Quick Indoor Organizing Projects To Tackle Now
From leaving on vacations and weekend getaways to heading out for a hike or to a sporting event, frequent in-and-out traffic in summer can leave our spaces a mess.
While a deep clean can be reserved for fall, home organizing expert Abby Lawson of the popular Abby Organizes blog says there are quick ways to tidy up the home now.
Easy Entrance and Exit: A new survey by Duck brand finds 76% of people feel “overwhelmed” by their family members’ mess.
To help control clutter near the entryway, install Duck brand EasyMounts Interior Drywall J Hooks to give items like beach bags, hats and umbrellas a designated spot. Lawson says she also likes to put a basket by the door, so her kids have a place to toss their shoes.
“Helping everyone adopt a routine when they come into the door encourages tidiness,” Lawson
explains. “If you have little kids, move the hooks to their level, so hanging their bag becomes part of their routine.”
Medicine Cabinet Makeover: The outdoor season brings its fair share of challenges like sunburn, bug bites, bee stings and rashes. Stock a cabinet with must-have emergency supplies.
Lay Solid Grip Shelf Liner with Clorox on the shelf, so surfaces
stay clean and dry from leaking bottles and sticky spills.
Lawson keeps these essentials on a shelf near her entryway, so it’s easy for her family to apply sunscreen or bug repellent quickly on their way to the park or pool.
Order for Overflow: More than half of the people surveyed say clutter in the living room is the “most annoying” mess their family
members make on a regular basis. Lawson says she uses hooks on the inside wall of her hall closet to hold an organizer.
This creates extra storage for small toys as well as hand soap and toilet paper. She also recommends that households establish a consistent cleanup time to “reset” the room.
“No matter how much we try to clean up, staying organized will come down to the habits that we have,” Lawson says.
“Institute a daily or weekly reset where everyone in the family works together to get everything back to where it goes. That will keep the clutter from piling up.”
Gather Your Gadgets: From tongs to skewers, we often use the same tools to cook in the summer. Lawson suggests storing go-to grilling gadgets in a caddy, so they can easily be taken from inside to out.
She also says to divide drawers with small trays and use shelf liner with fun prints and patterns under the trays to add a pop of color to the area.
Additionally, put bulky items like egg, pineapple and watermelon slicers in a basket on a higher shelf, so they don’t take up drawer space.
Car Clean-Out: Whether you’re heading on a day trip or a road trip, the car can easily get chaotic. Lawson recommends putting an organizer on each of the back seats, so kids’ snacks, electronics and car games are easily accessible. These pockets can also be a handy place for hand sanitizer, trash bags and water.
Setting up these simple organizing systems with the help of useful products and organizing tools will encourage tidy habits for a neat home all season long. (StatePoint)
How To Help Keep Your Child Safe And Healthy This School Year
As students return to classrooms, doctors say that it’s important to ensure that children are up-to-date with routine childhood vaccinations.
“The evidence around vaccinations is abundantly clear; they’re safe, effective and will help protect you, your loved ones and your community from preventable diseases.
If you have questions about vaccines, their safety, or effectiveness, please speak to your physician. We are here for you, eager to answer your questions, and ensure your family is protected,” says Jesse M. Ehrenfeld, M.D., M.P.H., president of the American Medical Association (AMA).
In an effort to promote a safer, healthier school year for everyone, the AMA is sharing these vaccine facts and insights:
• Vaccines are safe, effective and save lives.
Routine childhood immunization is highly effective at preventing
disease over a lifetime, reducing the incidence of all targeted diseases, including measles, mumps, rubella, polio and chickenpox. For the U.S. population in 2019, vaccines prevented more than 24 million cases of disease.
• The benefits of vaccines can be quantified.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), vaccination of children born between 1994 and 2021 will prevent 472 million illnesses, almost 30 million hospitalizations and more than 1 million deaths, saving nearly $2.2 trillion in total societal costs, including $479 billion in direct costs.
• Vaccination rates have fallen.
Even before the rise in vaccine misinformation and disinforma-
tion associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccine hesitancy was increasing, elevating the risk of community outbreaks, which put underand unvaccinated children at risk for serious illnesses, like measles.
According to a mid-January 2023 report from the CDC, vaccination coverage decreased in most states for all vaccines among kindergarteners for the 2021-22 school year when compared with the previous school year, which was already below pre-pandemic levels.
• Speak to your child’s physician.
With increased misinformation around vaccinations, it is critical that you seek out reliable, evidence-based sources for information. These sources may begin with websites like getvaccineanswers. org, but they should also include
your child’s physician.
Physicians can also answer questions on the new monoclonal antibody therapy, nirsevimab, available for infants and children under the age of 19 months, for the prevention of RSV disease.
• Don’t let cost be a barrier.
Programs like Vaccines for Children (VFC) are federally funded to provide no-cost vaccinations to children whose families otherwise could not afford them. Parents can learn more by contacting their state or local health department.
“Make an annual well-child visit and immunizations a part of your household’s back-to-school routine,” says Dr. Ehrenfeld.
“Doing so will protect you and your family from a number of preventable illnesses. It’s something I do for my own children, and I urge you to do so, too.” (StatePoint)

Seeking To Preserve Veterans’ Stories Of Service And Sacrifice
Whether it’s pride, pain, inspiration, nostalgia or a combination of sentiments, any time veterans tell their stories, there’s a good chance they’ll evoke strong emotions from both the tellers and their audiences.
Those feelings are often well-warranted as many veterans have been through intense experiences in the name of service to their country.
United States Army Staff Sergeant Shilo A. Harris’ story is no exception.
Although he wanted to be a soldier his entire life, it wasn’t until after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 that Harris felt compelled to enlist in the Army.
He went to basic training at age 27 and began his career as a cavalry
scout stationed in Germany. During his second deployment to Iraq, his life forever changed.
On Feb. 19, 2007, Harris was on patrol when his military vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED).
The estimated 700-pound IED,
which was buried in the road, blew the vehicle “to pieces,” killed three soldiers and critically injured Harris and the vehicle’s driver.
While he survived the explosion, Harris spent the next 48 days in a medically induced coma while doctors worked to heal the third-degree burns covering 35% of his body and multiple fractured bones.
Harris lost both ears, three fingers and the tip of his nose. He underwent more than 75 surgeries and
three years of intensive rehabilitation to regain basic abilities and maintain an independent lifestyle.
Harris retired from the Army in 2010 and is determined to keep a grateful outlook despite struggling with post-traumatic stress and ongoing care needs.
“I do have bad days, but for the most part I live my life because life is worth living,” Harris said.
He now shares his experiences through motivational speaking and writing books. He also submitted his oral history to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project (VHP).
The Veterans History Project is a national effort to collect, preserve and make accessible the first-hand
Why Advocates Say We Must Do More To Prevent Legionnaires’ Disease
When people go to the hospital, they don’t expect to become sick because of their visit. Yet this has been happening for decades in hospitals across the country partly due to a dangerous bacteria known as Legionella.
These bacteria are known to cause a serious and potentially fatal form of pneumonia called Legionnaires’ disease, and the rates are increasing.
In the past 10 years, the number of reported cases of Legionnaires’ disease has risen by 200%. While rarely a threat in nature, Legionella bacteria grow and thrive in man-made settings where water is warm, including water from showers, faucets, fountains and equipment. In fact, legionella bacteria is found in up to 50% of hospitals, as well as in hot tubs, decorative fountains and other buildings.
Legionnaires’ disease is caused by breathing in small droplets of water containing the bacteria, usually from water used for showering or from cooling towers associated with air conditioning systems in large buildings.
Deaths from community infections
of Legionnaires’ disease occur in 10-15% of cases, but that rate increases to 25-30% if infected in a hospital or healthcare facility.
The symptoms of Legionnaires’ disease are no different from other forms of pneumonia. These include high fever, coughing and shortness of breath. Often the diagnosis is missed, and most cases go undetected until it is too late.
In fact, most patients who die from Legionnaires’ disease never have the cause of their illness brought to light. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports about 1,000 cases per year, but admits that the true number is likely much
higher.
This is why early detection is imperative in saving lives, as typical treatments for pneumonia do not work. The most effective antibiotics for treating Legionnaires’ disease are levofloxacin and azithromycin.
What’s worse, typically only 50% of hospitals test for Legionella, leaving many patients and health care providers unaware of the danger. There are no federal regulations for Legionella testing and only a handful of states have adopted requirements for testing. Even with the preventative measures available to these facilities, systemic neglect continues.
“A trip to the hospital should not be a death sentence. More needs to be done,” said Dr. Janet Stout, executive vice president and founder of Special Pathogens Laboratory at Pace Analytical, a provider of regulatory testing and analytical laboratory services. “Water management programs and testing are proven to prevent Legionella infections.”
The average test costs $100 and depending on the size of the facil-
remembrances of U.S. military veterans from World War I through more recent conflicts and peacetime missions so future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did and felt during their service.
ity, it can take an average of 10-20 tests to detect the presence of Legionella.
It’s highly recommended that every building that is not a small- to mid-sized house with hot water recirculation, is multi-story and has water-cooled air-conditioning systems (cooling towers) test quarterly. This includes hospitals, longterm care facilities, casinos, cruise ships and data centers.
Many hospitals believe they can do the testing themselves, but are not aware of the specialized methods that are required. It is highly recommended to have experienced professionals provide testing to ensure it’s done right.
While private homes are rarely a source of exposure for Legionella bacteria, people who are severely immunocompromised should discuss precautions with their physician.
“It’s time for action. We need to do more to prevent Legionnaires’ disease and the accompanying loss of life,” says Stout. “Test to protect!” (StatePoint)

Chess World Cup 2023: Praggnanandhaa Finishes As Runner-Up, Magnus Carlsen Wins Maiden World Cup
Chess World Cup 2023 Final: World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen won his maiden World Cup crown after beating India’s teenage sensation R Praggnanandhaa in the tie-breakers in Baku on Thursday, August 24.
Chess World Cup 2023 Final: World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen won his maiden World Cup crown after beating India’s teenage sensation R Praggnanandhaa in the tie-breakers of the final in Baku on Thursday, August 24.
It was the first World Cup crown for Carlsen as the 32-year-old added the missing piece to his decorated trophy cabinet.
Magnus Carlsen battled against a bout of food poisoning as he used all his experience to outclass the young Indian, who had developed a great reputation for being a giant killer.
With the silver medal finish at the Chess World Cup, Praggnanandhaa
booked his berth at the Candidates Tournament, becoming only the second Indian to do so.
Praggnanandhaa might have lost the big final in Baku, but the 18-year-old from Chennai has etched his name in the history books of Indian chess.
He had become the first Indian after Viswanathan Anand to reach the final and was a victory away from joining the Indian legend at the top.
Carlsen and Praggnanandhaa played out draws in the two classical time control games.
While Praggnanandhaa missed an opportunity to force a result with white piecesq1, Carlsen came up with an interesting tactic, playing for a draw in the second game when he was playing with a white.
Carlsen revealed he wanted an extra day’s rest after the bout of food poisoning and he deliberately took the final to the tie-breakers.
It was a brave call from Carlsen as Praggnanandhaa had been in sensational form in tie-breakers, winning 3 of them before the final.
Both players conceded that they were exhausted and Pragg had played 29 games, 9 more than Carlsen before the final.
It was a battle of wits and tenac-
ity in the final and Carlsen’s experience came into play as Praggnanandhaa was denied a historic win.
Praggnanandhaa missed out on a chance to become the first player in the history of the World Cup to win the crown after beating the top 3 players in the FIDE Rankings.
Pragg reached his maiden chess World Cup final after surviving three tie-breakers, including the ones in the quarter-finals and semifinals against World No. 2 Hikaru Nakamura and World No. 3 Fabiano Caruana.
Praggnanandhaa has an ELO rating of 2723 in rapid rapidly, but his exploits at the World Cup is a timely reminder that the youngster is at his tenacious best when put under pressure.

5 Ways To Trim Home Energy Bills
(Continued From Page 04)
Upgrade Your System
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) incentivizes homeowners that opt for energy-efficient air-conditioning and heating options to replace fossil-fuel-fired furnaces.
This includes upgrading your existing HVAC system to a qualified heat pump.
For example, Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps provide more energyefficient cooling and heating that equals cost and energy savings as well as a reduced carbon footprint for homeowners.
Installing a smart electrical panel alongside an all-electric heat pump enables homeowners to monitor and control energy consumption on-site or remotely using a smartphone for better overall efficiency and utility cost savings.
Harness the Sun’s Energy with So-
lar Panels
According to the Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy, the amount of sunlight that strikes the Earth’s surface in 90 minutes could power the world’s total energy usage for a full year.
Investing in solar panels can help decrease energy bills and increase your home’s sustainability. Addi-
tionally, some utility providers and government entities, including the IRA, offer incentives to help reduce installation costs.
Avoid Heating or Cooling Unused Spaces
One mistake many homeowners make is forgetting to adjust their temperature settings when leaving the house.
Whether you’re headed out for the weekend or just headed to work for the day, running your system in an empty house can result in unnecessarily high utility bills.
Multi-zone, all-electric heat pumps like those from Mitsubishi Electric allow homeowners to set the comfort level and adjust the temperature in each room, reducing the energy waste of cooling unoccupied rooms.
With a smartphone app, you can even adjust the settings remotely.
Find more ways to increase energy savings while making your home more sustainable by visiting MitsubishiComfort.com.

Chandrayaan-3: India Makes Historic Landing Near Moon’s South Pole
(Continued From Page 01)
On 23rd August, tense moments preceded the touchdown as the lander - called Vikram after Isro founder Vikram Sarabhai - began its precarious descent, carrying within its belly the 26kg rover named Pragyaan (the Sanskrit word for wisdom).
The lander’s speed was gradually reduced from 1.68km per second to almost zero, enabling it to make a soft landing on the lunar surface. In a few hours - scientists say once the dust has settled - the sixwheeled rover will crawl out of the lander’s belly and roam around the rocks and craters on the Moon’s surface, gathering crucial data and images to be sent to Earth.
What next for India’s Moon mission?
One of the mission’s major goals is to hunt for water-based ice which, scientists say, could support human habitation on the Moon in future. It could also be used for supplying propellant for spacecraft headed to Mars and other distant destinations.
Scientists say the surface area that remains in permanent shadow there is huge and could hold reserves of water ice.
The lander and the rover are carrying five scientific instruments which will help discover the
physical characteristics of the surface of the Moon, the atmosphere close to the surface and the tectonic activity to study what goes on below the surface.
The
rover is carrying an Indian flag and its wheels also have Isro’s logo and emblem embossed on them so that they leave imprints on the lunar soil during the Moon walk, an official told the BBC.
Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, will work to build on the success of the earlier Moon missions and Isro officials say it will help make some “very substantial” scientific discovery.
It comes 15 years after Chandrayaan-1, the country’s first Moon mission in 2008, which discovered the presence of water molecules on the parched lunar surface and established that the Moon has an atmosphere during daytime. And despite failing the soft landing, Chandrayaan-2 was not a complete write-off - its orbiter continues to circle the Moon even today and will help the Vikram lander send images and data to Earth for analysis.
India is not the only country with an eye on the Moon - there’s a growing global interest in it, with many other missions headed to the lunar surface in the near future. And scientists say there is still much to understand about the Moon that’s often described as a gateway to deep space.

Why Chandrayaan-3 Landed Near The Moon’s South PoleAnd Why Everyone Else Wants To Get There Too
By Robert Lea
The lunar south pole is attracting intense attention from space agencies. Even NASA plans to land Artemis 3 astronauts there.
India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully landed near the moon’s south pole on Wednesday (Aug. 23). The Indian Space Research Organization (IRSO) mission not only made history because it saw the nation become the fourth to successfully land on the moon — after the Soviet Union, the U.S. and China — but also because it named India the first to land at the southern lunar pole.
The lander’s arrival was marked on the ISRO Twitter account with words from Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar surface: “I reached my destination, and you too!’
But IRSO’s mission, which has since deployed a robotic rover to begin exploring the lunar south pole, isn’t exactly alone in its goals.
Around 2025, as part of its Artemis 3 mission, NASA plans to have humans step foot on the moon for the first time in 50 years. That journey is also set to include the first woman and person of color to make the trip. (Continued On Page 24)

Panchatantra Stories
THE JACKAL AND THE DRUM
Once upon a time, in a jungle there lived a jackal by the name of Gomaya. One day, he was very hungry and was wandering in search of food. While wandering, he came across a battle field. There he saw a big drum lying under a tree. When the wind blew, a tender branch grown at the root of the tree struck the drum producing sound of a drum beat.
The jackal examined the drum from all sides and then beat the drum with his front paws. The drum made a sound. Now the jackal thought that there might be some other small animal inside the drum and that would make a very tasty meal for him. But he found the top
of the drum too tough to tear off.
The jackal thought of a plan and began to beat the drum with both
his front paws. The sound of drumbeat filled the whole jungle. A leopard who was attracted towards the sound of the drum, came near
it. The jackal said to the leopard, “Your Majesty, there is some animal hiding inside the drum. Since you have sharp claws and strong teeth, you can tear off the top of the drum and catch your prey inside the drum.
The leopard was himself hungry So he hit the top of the drum with his heavy paws. The drum burst with a sound, but there was no animal inside. The drum was empty.
Seeing the empty drum, the leopard became very angry and said to the jackal, “You have wasted my time. There is no food inside the drum. So I will kill and eat you.”
The leopard pounced upon the jackal and killed and ate him.

5 Ways To Get Your Pet Ready For Fall
Austin Enters Stage 2 Of Drought Contingency Plan
(Continued From Page 01)
To give the community advance notice that these new restrictions are coming, and consistent with the City’s Water Conservation Code,
Water waste is prohibited. Restaurants may serve water only upon request. Charity car washes are prohibited, and home car washing must use an auto-shut-off valve
Pets provide unconditional love to their companions; in return, it’s important to make sure they live happy and healthy lives by providing the best care possible.
This means making sure that in addition to food, treats and toys, they receive daily care for their eyes, ears and overall health.
With a desire to bring a dog into his family’s lives, Albert, a Bausch + Lomb employee, rescued a terrier mix named Watson. However, it soon became apparent Watson needed some extra love and care to help protect his eyes and ears from irritation and excess buildup.
When finding a remedy proved difficult, Albert worked with veterinarians to develop Project Watson Health Care for Dogs, a comprehensive line of quality products targeting these specific areas. To help ensure your furry member of the family has the best head to tail health possible, consider these tips.
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
Routine wellness checks are an essential part of your pet’s care. Annual screenings, even if your dog
seems healthy, allow your veterinarian to provide vaccines to combat disease and uncover any health issues that may have otherwise gone undiagnosed until symptoms advanced.
Watch Your Pet’s Diet
Feeding your pet a proper diet based on his or her breed, age, size and lifestyle plays a big role in overall health.
A balanced diet that includes highquality food can lead to a shiny coat, healthy skin, bright eyes and may also help strengthen your pet’s immune system, maintain intestinal health, increase mental acuity, regulate weight, keep muscles and joints healthy and more.
Support Clean Ears and Eyes
Often overlooked, the eyes and ears are vital areas to the overall health and wellness of your pet.
To help keep these areas free of any buildup of bacteria that may cause irritation, consider an option like the line of Project Watson Health Care Products for Dogs, which includes an eye wash, eyelid wipe, ear wash, ear wipe and supplements made using high-quality
and naturally inspired ingredients.
Excessive blinking or pawing at the eyes can be signs of buildup, irritation or infection.
Dirt and debris trapped around the eyes can also clump in fur, leading to skin irritation and infections while excessive tear production can lead to fur staining, which can develop an unpleasant odor.
Eye wipes can be used daily to relieve staining and remove excess buildup. Washing your dog’s ears may help reduce dirt, debris and wax buildup; help prevent itching; and reduce the chance of infection while keeping ears smelling fresh.
Create an Exercise Routine
Walks, games in the backyard and social time with other pets can help keep your furry friend in good physical condition.
While different breeds and species often have different needs, adequate activity can provide benefits beyond the physical, including reducing boredom, which can potentially lead to anxiety or destructive behaviors.
Interim City Manager Jesus Garza has ordered implementation of Stage 2 watering restrictions to be effective and enforceable, beginning on August 15, 2023.
“For many years, Austin has leaned into water conservation in normal weather as well as drought,” said Austin Water Director Shay Ralls Roalson.
“As our current drought continues, we know that the entire Austin community will respond to the need to conserve our most precious resource. We’re all in this together, and there is no substitute for water.”
Stage 2 Watering Restrictions Summary
Automatic irrigation and hose-end watering is restricted to one day per week.
Automatic irrigation runtime is reduced by 3 hours with cutoff at 5 a.m. instead of 8 a.m.
PET.... Prevent Pests
or a bucket.
Patio misters at commercial properties, including restaurants and bars, may operate only between 4 p.m. and midnight.
Large ornamental fountains can no longer be operated.
New landscape-establishment irrigation is no longer exempt from the watering schedule.
Austin Water will continue its investigations of reported non-compliance received via Austin 3-1-1 and water waste patrols. Failing to follow watering restrictions could result in fines of up to $1,000 per violation. To report a violation, call 3-1-1 or use the 3-11 mobile app.
For complete details about the Austin Water drought response, visit austinwater.org. Contact Austin Water Media Line (512) 9720499 or AWPublicInformation@ austintexas.gov
In addition to regular vaccinations, ensure your pet is up to date on parasite prevention. This includes fleas, ticks, mites, heartworm and more which can cause reactions ranging from mild to severe (or even fatal in some cases of heartworm or Lyme disease).
Look for pests and skin abnormalities when grooming your pet and contact your vet if your pet excessively scratches, chews or licks his or her fur or ears, or persistently shakes his or her head.

BAPS’ Festival of Inspirations Highlights Civic Duty and Public Service
BAPS hosted a special cultural program themed, ‘My Country, My Duty,’ at the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Attendees of the program, which debuted as part of the Festival of Inspirations, were left inspired to reflect on the ways they could exemplify model citizenship and answer their respective “call to duty.”
The BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham is a product of one such call to duty by thousands of volunteers who made a selfless choice to contribute their time and efforts to something greater than themselves.
The evening began with John F. Kennedy’s famous quote, “Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.”
This set the tone for reflections on service, further emphasized by Martin Luther King Jr.’s sentiment, “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
Pujya Chaitanyamurti Swami’s impactful speech at the “My Country, My Duty” program underscored Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s belief that serving one’s nation is a form of dharma.
He equated national service to serving one’s guru, highlighting that the essence of service is integral to Akshardham’s foundation, inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj. The dedication of Festival of Inspirations volunteers, evident in both Akshardham and local communities, embodies this spirit.
Guy Chiarello, COO of Fiserv, Inc., reflected on the power of volunteerism at Akshardham, stating, “It’s not about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that leave us breathless.
Today,I witnessed the profound impact of families and volunteers dedicated to a grand vision.”
Dr. Manjit Singh Bains, affiliated
with Memorial Sloan Kettering and Cornell, lauded Akshardham not merely for its architectural brilliance but its deeper values.
He underscored its pivotal role in educating the younger generation about respect, responsibility, and the spirit of giving. During the program, public servants such as police officers, firefighters, and elected officials were
far-reaching effects of simple gestures, from voting to neighborhood cleanups, through various skits and addresses.
His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of BAPS, conveyed that any profession can be transformed into a service for the broader benefit. “Whether you’re a doctor, a teacher, or any other professional, strive to excel in your role. Don’t just be ordinary; be outstanding in a way that contributes positively to society.”
Among the distinguished guests were Mr. David Fried, Mayor of Robbinsville Township; Chief Michael
side Mrs. Neeta Dalal.
Values such as integrity and morality were also a focal point of the evening. Speakers throughout the program highlighted that however one chooses to live and operate, doing so with a strong sense of morality and kindness is a service in and of itself.
The program ended with a profound lesson on character: when we choose to make value-based decisions, we have the potential of touching the lives of so many people. Watch future events from the Festival of Inspirations LIVE at https://na.baps.org.

Why Chandrayaan-3 Landed Near The Moon’s South Pole - And Why Everyone Else Wants To Get There Too
(Continued From Page 18)
But even before that, the U.S. space agency’s Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) is expected to explore the southern pole in 2024 during a 100-day-long mission.
And China, with its burgeoning space industry, isn’t going to be left out of this lunar south pole action. The country’s space agency plans to send the Chang’e 7 mission there in 2026 along with a new moon rover.
So why is all this interest in the lunar south pole heating up? Well, ironically, it’s primarily due to something very cool.
The lunar south pole’s most precious commodity
Interest in the lunar south pole as a landing site is mainly driven by the fact that scientists know the region hosts water in the form of ice.
Water is, of course, essential for life as we know it — but it also has other uses. For instance, it can act as a coolant for equipment and even provide rocket fuel. The latter could be especially useful for a staging mission to Mars launched from the moon someday.
What this means is, as space agencies start thinking about sustainability in space as well as the next era of crewed space missions, the ability to harvest water in-situ on the moon for drinking, cooling machinery, or even breaking down into hydrogen and oxygen to provide breathable air or fuel is of immense value.
Additionally, water on the moon is of pure scientific value. It can be used as a record of geological activity on the moon, such as lunar volcanoes, and even act as an asteroid strike tracker.
While water has been detected across the surface of the moon, the majority of water ice signals come from the poles.
At the lunar south pole, only elevated peaks are lit by the sun. This is because the sun is always positioned around the horizon due to the moon’s tilt. More low-lying areas are permanently shrouded in shadow, and are quite literally referred to as permanently shadowed regions (PSRs).
Temperatures in PSRs can drop to as low as -418 degrees Fahrenheit (-250 degrees Celsius), which is so frigid its colder than Pluto
— but this means it’s also an ideal spot to maintain water ice.
Any water molecules that enter a PSR region are immediately frozen. They’re also trapped because it is simply too cold for them to evaporate. This water content then falls to the surface, where it gets mixed with lunar soil.
That process results in the growth of large “pockets” of water and soil at the moon’s south pole.
ISRO was integral in first detecting such lunar water to begin with when, in 2008, its Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft carried a NASAprovided science instrument called the Moon Mineralogical Mapper (M3) to lunar orbit. This determined the existence of water ice inside craters at the moon’s south pole.
The following year, in 2009, NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) purposefully slammed a dark crater at the lunar south pole with the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS). This created a plume of debris that LCROSS jetted through, enabling it to detect water ice that had been hidden in darkness.
There was a small concern, however, that the molecule hydroxyl (OH) was confused to be the water molecule (H2O).
This fear was allayed in 2020 when it was revealed that data from NASA’s Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) telescope confirmed the first unambiguous detection of water at the lunar south pole.
Based upon SOFIA data, scientists estimat-
ed there could be as much as 12 ounces of water for every one cubic meter (just over 35 cubic feet) of lunar soil at the southern pole of the moon.
According to the Planetary Society, when considering Chandrayaan-1 and LRO data, the two lunar poles harbor over 600 million tons of water ice. That’s enough to fill around 240,000 Olympicsized swimming pools.
And this, experts say, is a low-end estimate.
Thus, with such an incredibly valuable resource located around the lunar south pole, it is a wonder space agencies haven’t already swarmed to get some space probes there well before ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission softlanded this week.
As it turns out, there is a very good reason for this.
Why haven’t we landed at the lunar pole before?
Landing near the lunar south pole is not easy, and part of the reason for this is tied to what makes landing there so desirable in the first place. The shadowy nature of the lunar south pole that helps preserve water ice means a soft landing there is tricky.
Most lunar descent vehicles rely on cameras to guide their final approach to the lunar surface, ensuring to avoid obstacles and hazards such as boulders or craters.
Landing is risky even on well-lit regions of the moon. Just one chance encounter between a boulder big enough to tip a spacecraft and a lander would end in disaster for the mission.
Therefore, the risk increases substantially in the shadowy lunar south pole.
Such risk is also magnified by the fact that the lunar south pole lacks large expanses of flat terrain as are found at the moon’s equator, for instance. Terrain at both lunar poles is known to be heavily cratered as well as more likely to be sloped and rocky.
Moreover, the south pole of the moon can’t even be seen from Earth.
This means scientists’ knowledge of it comes entirely from spacecraft orbiting the moon like the LRO, which has collected precise information about the region and its terrain.
Any lunar craft that seeks to land at the south pole must also be able to withstand the incredibly cold temperatures found there. Further, the lack of sunlight creating those temperatures delivers another issue, too: A lunar rover that strays into one of the many PSRs at the south pole of the moon will be out of contact with the sun, meaning it can’t rely on solar power to operate and must instead have a nuclear power source.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, PSRs are also out of the line of sight of Earth, meaning relaying messages to and from mission control in the shadowy regions is challenging to say the least.
Future missions will take the mapping of the terrain of the lunar south pole to a whole new level, with the VIPER mission in particular hunting for resources that could be mined and exploited by the crew of the Artemis program.
Additionally, orbiters around the moon are scoping out the orb’s perilous polar regions for suitable landing zones to limit, if not eliminate altogether, the risks of setting down without threatening mission failure.
And, to paint a picture of these risks, there is at least one space-faring nation that has recently become all too aware of the turmoil that may happen at the lunar south pole.
Just days before the landing of Chandrayaan-3, Russia had planned to make its glorious return to the moon’s surface after 47 years with Luna-25, which launched on Aug. 10. But on Aug. 19, Roscosmos announced via its Telegram feed that it had lost contact with the mission.
Luna-25 spacecraft had crashed into the moon’s surface during landing preparations.
If it had been successful, Luna-25 would have hunted through the soil of the lunar south pole looking for water ice. “It’s hugely disappointing,” Open University planetary scientist Simeon Barber told Nature.
“It highlights that landing on the moon is not easy.” (Courtesy: https://www.space.com/)

New To Yoga? Avoid These 10 Common Mistakes
When you first start practicing yoga, you’ll probably be eager to get the most out of the practice.
However, it is important to take it slowly in the beginning and avoid simple but common mistakes made by most new yogis.
Here are 10 things to avoid so you and your fellow yogis can focus on your practice.
1. Rushing to class
A large part of yoga practice is about calming the mind and de-stressing. You can get to this place much more easily if you’re not rushing into class late. Give yourself enough time to get there; in fact, aim to arrive early.
2. Pushing yourself too far
This is simple. If you feel pain in a pose, stop. Try a modified version or take child’s pose. If you injure yourself, you won’t be able to practice at all, so make modifications when you need to.
3. Comparing yourself to others
You’ve heard this before. Your yoga practice is yours and yours alone. There’s no need to keep up with anyone else in the class. As long as you’re benefiting from the practice, you’re doing what you need to do.
4. Taking an advanced class before you’re ready
Sure, it would be amazing to master the splits or do a handstand in the first month of your yoga practice, but nothing is more frustrating than taking a class in which you have to modify every pose or even skip poses because your body is simply not ready to twist, balance, or stretch in certain ways.
5. Never attempting challenging poses
As important as it is to listen to your body and avoid what you’re not ready for, it’s equally important to venture out to the edge of your ability. If you stay completely within your comfort zone at all times, you’ll never be able to do the more challenging poses. If going upside freaks you out, try that headstand with support from the wall or your teacher.
6. Wearing clothing that is too loose or too tight
You want to be able to move comfortably in your yoga clothes, but you also want to be sure that you’re covered when you move –especially when you bend forward or turn upside down. Dress appropriately so that your attention is on the poses, not tugging down your top.
7. Not being mindful of your neighbor
In this case, being mindful is not about comparison but about respecting your neighbor’s personal space and making sure that there is enough room for both of you to practice each pose without a collision. Kicking someone
in the head when raising your leg in downward dog is a real bummer!
8. Checking your cell phone during yoga class
Many of us use our phones like a third appendage. But our phones don’t belong in the studio. Not only does checking your phone during class distract you, but it distracts everyone else. Keep the phone off your mat. And if you have your stuff in the same room where everyone’s practicing, turn off your phone before class begins.
9. Practicing with socks on Most teachers will tell you to remove your socks, but some will not interfere if you choose to keep them on. Take them off anyway. You will benefit from the direct con-
nection with the ground, and it will be much easier to practice without slipping.
10. Leaving early
The last few minutes of a yoga class are arguably the most important. This is when you rest in savasana, lying on your back with your eyes closed. It’s the money time to relax and let the last 60 or 90 minutes of yoga integrate in your body and mind. You wouldn’t leave work without your paycheck, so don’t leave class without experiencing the serenity you’ve worked toward.
Now you are ready! With these commonsense tips, you’ll be ready for each class and get the most out of your new yoga practice. But don’t worry if you don’t get all 10 “right” every time. Every yogi is late or distracted by a fellow student once in a while!

India To Have One Of The Largest Working-Age Populations By 2030 - McKinsey
Even as the economic centres are likely to shift in the future, G20 economies currently have wide and varying trends on sustainability and inclusion.
India, China and Indonesia will be three of the five economies with the world’s largest working-age populations among G20 countries by 2030.
This highlights the fact that the world might be seeing the economic geography shifting toward Eastern nations, McKinsey said in its Driving Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in G20 Economies report on Saturday.
“The world remains deeply interdependent, and indeed perhaps more so than previously, as digital and data flows fuel exchanges of communication and knowledge,” McKinsey said in its report. “Yet the global economic picture suggests that the world may be at the cusp of a new era. Economic geography has shifted eastward...”
According to the report, debt is now at its highest levels since the end of World War II, with the debt-to-gross domestic product ratio now standing at more than 300% for G20 countries. Inequality within countriesas measured by the gap between the richest 10% and the bottom 50%-has also risen to its highest level since the start of the 20th century, the report said.
China and India continue to be the core growth engines for the G20, but other na-
tions score better on inclusion and sustainability. European countries, Japan and Korea are well advanced on a range of indicators from life expectancy to share of population with bank accounts. On sustainability, while emerging economies have the lowest per capita carbon emissions, countries in Europe have the lowest ratio of CO2 emissions to GDP.
Economic Empowerment
The McKinsey report talks about bringing a large part of the world’s population above the line of economic empowerment to score better on metrics such as growth, inclusion and sustainability. The line of economic empowerment is, however, different from the World Bank’s extreme poverty line.
“The concept of economic empowerment described in this research involves ensuring that everyone has the means to access the full range of basics,” McKinsey said.
The World Bank estimates the extreme poverty line to be at $2.15 per person per day. However, McKinsey quotes other studies which state that in emerging economies on purchasing power parity terms, at $12 per person per day people can meet their basic needs and start to achieve discretionary spending powers. This is also the point where the risk of falling back into poverty is reduced.
For advanced economies, adjusting for their
higher cost of living, the line of economic empowerment is $47 per person per day.
On an overall basis, more than half of the population in G20 economies, or 2.6 billion people, live under the line of economic empowerment, the report said. This includes 100 million people living in extreme poverty, 2.2 billion people living under the line of economic empowerment in emerging economies and about 300 million people in advanced economies.
On a global scale, the number of such people is at 4.7 billion.
According to McKinsey, more than threefourths of the population in India and South Africa live below this line. As of 2020, 77% of India’s population or 1.07 billion people and 75% of South Africa’s population or 4.4 million people lived under the line of economic empowerment.
In case of China, Mexico, Brazil and Indonesia, this number is at over 50%. In more advanced economies in Europe and North America, about 20-30% live below the empowerment line.
“Our analysis suggests that closing this empowerment gap in G20 economies would require a cumulative increase in spending on essentials to the tune of $21 trillion over the decade to 2030,” McKinsey said. (Courtesy: https://www.ndtv.com/)

The Future Of Odia Films
Odia films have a bright future because it can only rise after touching the nadir. That’s the silver lining for an industry which has for years not seen many original scripts.
Stories of yesteryears leaned a lot on Tollywood influences till they turned ‘South wood’ (Tollywood (Telugu), Kollywood (Tamil), Mollywood (Malayalam) and Sandalwood (Kannada). Storytelling gives tremendous opportunities to map our culture and mainstream. But how do we achieve it when our own norms are not mainstream in our society? How do we expect films to talk to us when our own conversations are almost muted? Where is the book reading happening? Where are we celebrating our stories or our writers?
In the last 30 years the same set of writers have more or less been getting the awards almost. Odia writing in a way has become lifeless. A few postings on social media which are outpourings rather than creations are not only shrinking the vastness of Odia thinking but is also making it trite and cornball. How do we feed stories to our cinema? Where is the stock? Films need smart stories or the ones which can be adapted to good commercial value. I advocate commercial films for Odisha to stabilise the
industry.
First and foremost, the workers in the industry need to survive. There are well over 10,000 technicians, cine workers and allied professionals. If they won’t sustain then the industry will hire professionals from outside and Odisha will be reduced to be a location for shooting at cheap labour costs. This dangerous trend has started. Odisha-centric stories can create an Ollywood niche and help make money for the industry. Content can never be neglected.
Lipika Singh Darai, Abhishek Swain, Partha Sarathi Ray, Biswajit Paital, Biswanath Rath, Ashutosh Pattnaik, Atish Rout, Jitendriya Pradhan, Amartya Bhattacharyya and Debamitra Biswal are some of the bright young film talents who are raring to go. There are many more who are below the radar –from Sambalpur, Koraput, Sundargarh, Baripada. I have worked with Livingstone Tikari from Rayagada. He has done commendable work, making films on mobile phones and ingenious low-cost settings. His modest background has not killed his dreams. But he needs support to make a career out of films. The list of young sparks is long.
We can think of start-ups and hack-
athons but why don’t we organise literature competitions – online or offline? What is our contribution to literature in Odisha? From where will films get stories from? There are 35 universities in Odisha, more than 120 Rotary Clubs, thousands of civil society community organisations, prominent libraries in each district, youth clubs in each village but we hardly have platforms to bring in the youth and discuss literature, even informally, in a khatti environment. Everyone is knowledgeable and quite updated these days, thanks to the social media.
Cuttack has lost its place as the culture hub. They look like moribund events to propitiate a few for ulte-
Salman Khan’S KiSi Ka Bhai KiSi Ki Jaan
Salman Khan’s recent release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is all set to release in Bangladesh. The film featuring Khan, Pooja Hegdem Venkatesh Daggubati and Bhumika Chawla had released in India on April 21 during Eid. Panned by critics, the film earned over Rs 10 million crore at the domestic box office.
Now the film is releasing in Bangladesh on August 25, 2023. This will be Zee Studios’ first film to be released in the country and the second Indian film after Pathaan to hit the screens in the Bangladesh territory since 1971. Salman Khan’s films have always been known to cater to the masses and makers of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan are certain to entertain the audiences of Bangladesh.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was produced by Salman Khan and directed by Farhad Samji. The film was distributed by Zee Studios worldwide and also featured Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar.
WION’s Shomini Sen in her re-
view, termed the film strictly for Salman Khan loyalists. “Logic though is not the priority for Salman’s film. It has never been.
But at least Samji should have tried to get a few tweaks to suit the present time or present Khan in a new avatar. Instead, it feels like Salman Khan is playing himself- just with an annoying wig on his head,” wrote Sen in her review. (Courtesy: https://www. wionews.com/)
rior favours.
In all this literature is the victim. Can’t the TV channels spend less and create more branding for themselves by going to tier II towns and organise youth literary events?
It will help them scout affordable talents for their soap operas and programmes also. Their business development exercises can also help Odia literature and Odia films in turn.
The growth of the economy should typically foster broad-based appreciation of and indulgence in art. But in Odisha, since the boom in extraction industry, the quality of films has not shown any improvement in content. A direct correlation need not be established. But the availability of funds should have encouraged more VCs or corporate funding for films. Film houses or projects are still struggling for a good and ‘independent’ budget.
Let OFDC (Odisha Film Development Corporation) set up a funding panel, which will recommend funding of say 20 films every year. The corporation, since its birth in 1976, and by the end of 2020, has provided Rs 4.86 crore term loan to 45 producers. In 2019-20 it has given loan to one producer/film. By 2018-19, 102 producers have received Rs 1.63 crore from OFDC towards soft-cum-bridge loan. This loan is meant to help the producers complete the films on the floor. In the same period subsidy of about Rs 4.68 crore has been given to 318 producers to help production of films. This scale of support to an industry, which started in 1936 and is still surviving and is beleaguered, smacks of sheer apathy.
Am I such a philistine? Give it industry status, not with a glossy policy document, but by providing financial incentives.
The youth of Odisha and diaspora
are exposed today to low grade film content, music and entertainment which are blatantly salacious and misogynistic. But ‘original’ Odia film screenplay need not also mean abject rural poverty, thatched houses, youth migrating to city for jobs, people dressed in rags, perennially wailing mothers and uncommonly coy daughters and slapstick ‘apology’ in the name of comedy. Life has changed unbelievably in Odisha. Our social life has changed dramatically. I had spoken to youths across districts, and I could get their honest feedback. They find Odia films, the old ones, archaic and out of context. “They are only good for retro-celebrations and webinar expert discussions” is what they say. Generation gaps are well understood. The films of today though mostly crass remakes are gasping to be desperately contemporary in technique, gimmicks, and casting. Otherwise, the industry will be locked down. The current crop of film producers and the artistes have shouldered the responsibility and have kept the industry alive. We should be obliged to them. We have been saved from chronic nostalgia amidst slothful inaction.
But I don’t buy the alibi that the quality of films is inescapably a victim of the audience choice. In Odisha, films are supply driven and rarely demand driven. Ollywood has the influence to change audience preferences. The alibi is an escape route. At the same time, quality films should not thrive only on government patronage, should not be intolerably arty and award hungry and should not be limited in and confined to hackneyed Odia stereotypes. That demands originality which will come from the youngsters who do their researched well, experienced in different lifestyles, are well travelled, love Odisha and are ready to push Odia culture spring out of the clutches of the hubris. Provide seed funds to the creative energies and watch how they take Odia creative economy and culture-esteem to unparalleled heights. Believe in them now when regional movies (OTT included) are the future of silver screen federalism. (Courtesy: https://odishabytes.com/)
