From the Desk of Commissioner
Maribel Gomez Cordero Dear Residents of Avalon Park, As we enter 2021, we are faced with new challenges ahead to tackle together. These unprecedented times have changed the way we live our day by day. Our County Government continues to work to slow the spread of COVID-19, and provide assistance to those vulnerable residents in our community, but more importantly, to provide hope. Our County has received our shipment of vaccines, with a focus on EMS workers in Orange County. For the next phase of the COVID-19 vaccination, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County is rolling out a strategy to vaccinate the 65+ population in Orange County.
