Th e little island

Once upon a time, there was a little island that wished with all its might to become a big continent, but didn’t know how to do it, so she asked the ocean:
“Beloved Ocean, I so much desire to become a big continent. But since you take away the sand from my shore every day, how can I grow?”
“I live by the moon and depend on it. It moves me up and down, so I must always take the sand away from your shore. I’m sorry, I can’t help you. Why don’t you ask the volcano?” replied the ocean.
Do not look outside for what is inside of you, because you will never find it.
