Movie Premiere: Screen Stars of Tomorrow

Children from Year 5 from Ysgol Hirael and Year 6 from Ysgol Glancegin will receive the Hollywood treatment for the premiere of their movie projects. Both schools worked with experienced filmmaker Eilir Pierce, and up and coming film students from Bangor University, Osian Williams and Caryl Burke, to create their own films.

From the original concept, to the script, storyboarding, camera, directing, sound, make up, props - the children have been in charge. Adults were only there to assist and guide. In this invitation only event, the filmmakers will see their hard work on the big screen for the first time. From being received on the red carpet, and sharing their work with some famous faces, they will feel like the real movie stars they are.
