I have just finished reading a book called “Leaving Microsoft to Change the World” This book has made me realize the extent of illiteracy in the world. John went back to work briefly then resigned and started what later became “ROOM TO READ”, a non-profit organization with the goal of helping Nepal communities to build libraries and schools. Now, 10 years later, in 9 countries they have established 10,800 libraries with over 9 million books, built 1400+ schools and have funded over 10,400 girls to high school graduation.
