Shelley Mann, 2013 President of the Victoria Real Estate Board, says that economic indicators all predict slow growth for local real estate sales with modest price increases of just under 2%. “We saw the overall number of sales decrease by 10% in 2012, but prices remained relatively stable in all categories,” Mann notes. “When reviewing bank, CMHC and real estate association’s forecasts, we predict slow growth for 2013.
