The Multan Collage A WORD FROM THE HEADMISTRESS Dear parents, A sincere attempt has been made within the limited scope of a few pages of this newsletter to furnish you with as much information as possible, covering the highlights of the past two months. In order to pursue with our endeavor to make education a purposeful, meaningful and an enjoyable experience, we ensure an amalgam of curricular and extra-curricular activities. Therefore, a calendar of events was held lately in the Secondary Section. It was a great combination of study and social activities. It makes me a proud administrator to announce that we have achieved the very essence of BSS in pursuing our academic procedures. STUDY TRIPS A study tour to the Agriculture department of Bahauddin Zakariya University was arranged for all IX-C students on March18, 2011. The centerpiece of the tour was the Green House effect, Drip Irrigation system, and a presentation on Conservation of natural resources.
Class IX-C Red and Mauve (Humanities Group) visited Aziz group of companies. They were acquainted with the latest varieties of cotton and pesticides through a presentation.
ARTISTS IN BLOOM Cantonment board held an annual flower exhibition in the cantonment garden Multan on March 24, 2011. It also included a flower arrangement competition and two of our students-

Sports week Sports enthusiasts are well-catered for at BSS. Ensuring good health alongwith a good mind of our students, we planned a sports week. Each and every student was given a due opportunity to utilize. Sports Prefects, Samar Tariq (XI- pink) and Yousuf Bilal (X-Green) opened the ceremony that took place on February 21, 2011. This was followed by the Boys’ sports week which continued till February 23, 2011. Girls’ sports took place on February 24-25, 2011. SPELLATHON A WWF spellathon sponsored by GEO and SAFEGUARD was announced for class IX-C. A two weeks time was given to the students for its preparation. Amount of Rs. 9265 was collected for WWF.
