I welcome you all to LMA Primary, 11-FCC and feel honoured that you have chosen this institution for your child’s future studies . We hope that the time they spend with us will be full of great achievements and happiness. I would like to introduce my self . My name is Ms. Mehro Nagi and I have joined The Beaconhouse School System as the Senior Headmistress . I have been associated with the field of education for the past 12 years. With Mrs. Shirin Khan Headmistress of the Primary Section and Ms. Mahira Riaz as the Headmistress of LMA , we aspire to reach new heights . We firmly believe that our students are an asset to the school and their talent and energy must be channelized towards broader horizons.

Highly qualified and dedicated teachers have been inducted in the system and major renovation work has been completed to enhance the ambience of our campus . This includes state of the art computer labs and an exotic swimming pool , which we plan to make functional in the next academic session.

A Brave Warrior

We dedicate this issue to Malala Yousafzai , a powerful symbol of hope, bravery and resistance . Our hearts go out to the brave heroine and we at 11- F. C. C. pray and wish for her speedy recovery so that she can support the cause for the right of education for the children of Pakistan.

Welcome Reception The first day at school can be an anxious and demanding time for both parents and children. To welcome the young learners and to ensure that the transition goes as smoothly as possible, LMA
Primary
organized a reception on 14th Sep’12 for the new students of Pre Nursery and Nursery to explore and enjoy the concept of “learning through play”. Different activities ,such as pottery making, puppet show , story telling, art and crafts and a music corner were organized. Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. Orientation Day An Orientation Day was organized on 28th September 2012 ,for KG, Classes I and II. The event turned out to be a huge success, and the parents had an opportunity to look at the new facilities, classrooms and resources in addition to getting acquainted with the teachers and gaining a thorough understanding of the curriculum and teaching methodology.

Pakistan Math Challenge The students of grades III, IV & V are getting ready to participate in the “Pakistan Maths Challenge”, to be held on 30th & 31st October , 2012. We wish luck to all our young and eager mathematicians.
Global Dignity Day Celebrations
ELD Programme Language Development is an
ongoing
learning process at BSS. Therefore, an Dignity means being respected for who you are and what you believe in. . One thing that all human beings have in common is that we all want our dignity to be recognized. To inculcate this vision in the students , various activities were organized on campus . The students of 11.F.C.C. also participated in an online “Global Dignity Day Project” with affiliated schools.
English Development course was conducted by the ELD team for the professional development of our teachers.
It
