It is during the early years that young children begin to develop certain social skills, such as learning to co-operate, take turns and solving every day social problems.

Children need to learn how to wait their turn, share, resolve conflicts, cope effectively with anger, respond assertively in certain contexts and gain confidence in social situations.

Pet Show It is important to introduce animals to children at a young age. Children should learn how to take care of and understand the special bond between humans and their pets. A great way to teach children about animals is through educational activities involving their pets.

Young pupils who work in groups learn how to compromise and resolve petty arguments as well as make rapid progress in math, science and reading, a new study reveals.

The use of circle-time approaches, stories, puppets and turn-taking games all support the development of social skills, all of which are being practiced at BSS KG Branch, Sargodha.

Spring Festival The beauty of Spring was celebrated at KG Branch and the season was welcomed with flowers. Mothers were invited to enjoy the extravaganza along with their kids. Children dressed up in colourful clothes and participated in the music session.

Meetings Parent & teacher meeting was held at KG Branch so that the teachers and the parents can establish a common goal that focuses on helping their child have the best school experience possible.

Competitions Effective writing and reading skills are as important for effective communication as speaking and listening skills. KG Branch held reading and writing competitions in order to recognize reading and writing as an essential part of a child’s life.

Annual Day The annual day function prevails the environment of excitement in the school and the students put their all effort to make the annual day an affair to remember. On this special day children’s act as a host and parents come as the guest. KG Branch organized its Annual Day on April 26th, 2012 where students performed beautifully.

Splash Day When the summer air is muggy and sidewalks are sizzling, water fun activities for kids keeps them cool. Kids had fun playing in the water and with the water guns on the Splash Day, which was arranged by KG Branch. Students of Nursery class were also taught about the water cycle on that day.

Graduation Ceremony Kindergarten graduation marks the end of a young child's time in kindergarten and his entrance into primary school. Most children anxiously anticipate their KG graduation because, in his/her eyes, it means he/she is no longer a "little" boy or a girl but now a "big" boy/girl on his/her way to "real" school. KG Branch held its graduation ceremony on May 24th, 2012.
