Students Work Poetry Of The Week
A Mid-Winter Magical Morning As the dawn comes and the morning spring glows, While walking out the door to meet the freezing cold, I step out on a foggy shore, with arms stretch and eyes closed, Listening to the birds who are melodious as mum’s lore, I feel the wind brushing and freezing till my toes. THE TIME PASSES BY From days to months and months to years, Quickly so quickly the time passes by, We lose we win, we laugh we cry Sometimes we think we we’d go so high it’s better not to regret the moments passed bye this is the time ,so live it before u die . By: Abeer Awan X –C
Right to Education I
I have the right to live, but to live in the light Deprived, stripped and stolen despite The right so debated and argued by might I can't help feel devastated by the bite The wound in my being, the wound in my mind The bite so deep in my soul so blight All of them people say I can't think right But the right to education is the one for which I fight Alas in the end I'm just a bird of the night Though, one day you'll suffer seeing us in black & white By Saman Tanveer X-M (Sargodha Girls Campus)
Elections They say democracy rules, At least that’s how it goes in our school Born leaders give it in the hands of the majority, To give the lead to the chosen minority. It is no less than a game of heartbreak warfare, As only the winner gets the crown, Which is not ought to be shared. Some candidates give candy as a bribe But if you still don’t get the vote, Then say adieu to your pride. To win you need more than just a good luck charm, Good bye sweet dictator dreams, Because finally rang the election alarm. Fatima Tanveer
Imran Khan; The Rising Hero Pakistan is going through a time of need and disaster. Locals live a life of misery with untangled problems and no way out of their never ending miseries. With no electricity and food, scarcity of water and floods damaging the very rich Indus plain of Pakistan people are becoming poor and poor everyday. There is no one to help them and they rot in the world of disaster. As this all is not enough Pakistanis have very corrupt Politicians. Politicians of Pakistan are looting all the money of the country in a way or the other. Even having all the resources needed to make any country prosper still Pakistan is considered a third world country and lacks all the needs of an ideal place. In these dark times Imran Khan is like a ray of hope for the Pakistani nation and provides a glimpse of better future and a promise for no more sufferings to the distressed Pakistani nation. Imran Khan threatens to break the high barriers between a new and much better Pakistan. Imran Khan’s untainted integrity, ability to speak unhesitatingly with candor, his dogged faith in his own ability to foster change, and his perseverance in politics (despite being dismissed by pundits as a viable alternative to the mainstream parties) makes him a variable jewel who can bring about change and a revolution Aeman Imtiaz
