Did You Know ????   

The word 'swims' when turned upside down will still look like same i-e 'swims'. Do you know a funny fact about the word 'listen'? It contains the same letters as the word 'silent'!. The word “queue” is pronounced the same way when the last four letters are removed.

The HM Says… Dear Parents, Assalam-o-Alaikum! Our second term began with the New Year and is in full swing. Due to unforeseen reasons, the activities were restricted. Still we managed various curricular and extracurricular activities in which students and teachers participated with full zeal and zest. The accomplishments will be shared with all of you through this issue.

I would like to wish my students all the very best for their upcoming assessments. I would also like to emphasize the importance of revision and practice has in enhancing the knowledge.

Result Day & Book Fair Result day for the first term of the academic year 2015-16 was held on January 8 giving parents opportunity to discuss their child’s progress and parent’s concerns were answered by the teachers. Book Fair was held on the same day.

Art beat Competition Children develop valuable life skills through free expression and artistic activities. So, competition with the theme “My teacher My hero” was conducted in February and students expressed their thoughts about their favourite teacher with their creative imagination and colours.

Cultures around the World

K.G’s celebrated an event “Cultures around the World” on 26th February 2016 to familiarize the students with the different cultures in the world. They participated in the event wearing attire representing cultures of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Italy, China, America and India. Parents were proud to see their children perform so well. The hard work of teachers and vivacity of the students made the event successful.

We are the Leaders!!! Students of class one presented 7 skits, each depicting a habit from “7 habits of highly effective people”. Parents were also invited on 4th march and were proud to see their kids perform so well. Good job done by everyone !!!!

Inter-Class Quiz Competition Inter-class Science quiz competition between Class 1 Grey and 1 Pink on 2nd March 2016 gave students an opportunity to enhance their skills. Well done one pink. Cheers!!!

Spelling Competition 72-L conducted inter-class spelling competition between both the sections of class one’s and two’s. Each child got a turn to participate with full energy and enthusiasm. One pink and two grey won the competition.


Open Day To give the parents first-hand account of Enhanced Learning Environment, non-existing parents and early years students’ parents were invited to the campus for a day on 12th March. Six interactive workshops were conducted; included sessions were “Behavioural Issues” and “Jolly Phonics”. While parents were engaged in interactive workshops, children were caught up in fun-filled activities like kitchen corner, texture walk, puppet making, storytelling, gaming zone, playing music sowing the seeds of success.

Pakistan Day Pakistan day was celebrated with zeal and a spirit of nationalism at 72-L today. The importance of the day was shared with them. Students wore green and white clothes, sang national songs and presented a few lines depicting their love for Pakistan.
