Dear Parents, Students & Team , This, no doubt, has been an eventful year at BKI E-11 and I will start by expressing my gratitude to all of you, for how you have worked with high spirits to make this yet another successful year while not compromising on health and safety of our students. Moreover, I would specially appreciate my students here for staying determined and motivated to acquire knowledge as well as enthusiastically be a part of all the co-curricular activities that took place through the year. We, at BSS E-11, aim to keep the safety and education of our students at center. To achieve excellence in all areas upgraded resources and 100% implementation of SOPs are always kept at priority. Our teachers are well equipped with instructional strategies and techniques to maximize our students’ learning and not leaving any gaps in managing diverse student groups. As we end another successful year, I would like to assure you all that no matter what, the learning will never stop.

Club Activities
At BKI E-11, extracurricular clubs serve a wide variety of options that do not only cater to the interests but also to the holistic development needs of our diverse group of students. From Mathletes to the Photography club, and from the Arts and Crafts to the Video Making club, our school provided students with opportunities and required facilities to improve and build upon their academic and creative skills. Additionally, these clubs provided an added advantage of inculcating leadership qualities in students from an early age. These clubs allowed our students to learn collaboration and communication skills, which are essential for success in the 21st century. Designed to provide each student with holistic education and to nurture the qualities of the ideal learner, these clubs are conducted by proficient and passionate teachers, who seek to introduce hands-on learning in their relevant areas, to foster the true spirit of collaboration and competition. Through these clubs, our students have designed and created multiple art and crafts projects and have learned photographic and video-making techniques. Furthermore, students have enhanced their cooking skills along with their creative skills by engaging in story writing skills. They have also been engaged in different projects in the Mathletes club, which has helped them to augment their Mental Math skills. Our clubs are also geared towards improving the health of our students by focusing on aerobics and learning to cook healthy meals. The clubs currently being offered are: 1. Art and Crafts Club 2. Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony for the session 2021-22, was held on November 10th, 2021 with discipline and devotion. This historic day arrived to confer duties on the school's deserving young leaders in order for them to lead with confidence, dignity, and respect. Ms. Safia Cassim-Ex Regional Director North, honored the occasion with her esteemed presence. She presented the newly elected council members with prestigious sashes and took the oath.
The Student Council pledged to uphold the school ethos and to carry out their responsibilities honestly and to the best of their abilities. Kumail Abbas - Head Boy and Inayah Husnain Malik - Head Girl, acknowledged their responsibility and commitment towards the betterment of the school and its students. They also shed light on the importance and solemnity of their leadership roles.
BSS Birthday The Beaconhouse School System celebrates its birthday every year on November 4th. To mark the event this year, a special celebration was held at BKI E-11. Every student eagerly and enthusiastically joined in the event. Ms. Sadia Chand, Head of School, was joined on stage by the school's youngest student , " Maleeha Usman" , for the cake cutting ceremony. The entire space was decorated in shades of blue. Students sang BSS song with great zeal and thanked the teachers for their hard work and dedication.
The goal of celebrating this day was to help students create a sense of ownership for their school and to demonstrate their appreciation for it.
Healthy Lunchbox Making To emphasize on the importance of healthy eating in the well-being of young children, Lower Primary section organized an event, ‘Healthy Lunchbox Making’ on Tuesday, 16th November. The goal was to teach children about the nutritional value of everyday food items and in what quantity they need to consume it . Diverse stations with educational activities were set up to raise awareness about the significance of healthy eating. Students were able to identify between different food groups and the items that belong to each group. Students prepared a healthy lunchbox recipe along with their parents and wrote the recipe cards too. Later, all the platters were displayed along with the recipe cards and everyone got a chance to enjoy the healthy recipes created by their fellow participants.
Urdu Week To celebrate the significance of Urdu language in the lives of our students, Beaconhouse dedicates a whole week, every year, to conduct a number of activities, incorporating different aspects of Urdu language. The main purpose of "Urdu Week" is to inculcate the importance of our mother tongue in our students. Once again this year, Urdu week was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The teachers ensured the involvement of maximum students in various presentations. The students performed an amazing Baitbaazi session as well as delivered a heartwarming Kalam-e-Iqbal. A superb mushaira performed by Grade 4 students grabbed the attention of the audience with its wit and humor. Early Years students presented amusing tableaus based on Urdu poetry, poems and folk tales. Pre-Nursery's presentation of "Motay Motay Hath," a poem about elephants, stole the show with the outstanding performance of BKI E-11's youngest class. This week did not only help instill the love of Urdu language in students but also provided students with a platform for improving their linguistic skills.
A Day at the Farm BKI E-11, Early Years section hosted "A Day at the Farm" on Thursday, 28th October. Numerous exciting and full of learning activities were organized for students & parents. The students had an amazing experience being involved in a variety of activities such as milking cows, harvesting carrots, watering plants, collecting eggs, fetching water from the well and much more! The audience had a fascinating experience with the real farm animals like chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits and parrots. The Puppet Show turned out to be the highlight of the day. The event was a big hit with the students.
Milad On November 3, 2021, BKI E-11 Primary section celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi with religious fervor to commemorate the birth of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Khatam an-Nabiyyin (PBUH). This historic occasion was treated with great reverence by the students, faculty and parents. The halls echoed with the sounds of magnificent nasheeds,Naats and Darood-o-Salam recitations. The students were dressed elegantly, with girls wearing white dresses with purple dupattas and boys wearing white shalwar kameez. The heartfelt event came to a close with a hearty dua emphasizing the importance of instilling a love for Islam in our children's hearts.
Educational Trips School Educational Trips are valued as an important part of the school curriculum as they allow experiential learning as well as enhance students’ social skills outside of the classroom. In this regard, BKI E-11, organized a field trip to “Lok Virsa” for grades I –V and to “We Play” for Early Years. In Lok Virsa, students were briefed about the relics and their history by the teachers who accompanied them. They were encouraged to draw connections between their observations and the information they had previously acquired through classroom learning. Students were fascinated to discover and learn about the plethora of different cultures which exist in various regions of Pakistan. The students also witnessed the famous ‘Heer & Ranjha’, Uncle Sargam, the ancient Chinese attire, and maps of neighboring countries of Pakistan. Students in the Early Years visited the "We Play" play area. We opted for this option because physical activity is extremely important and beneficial in boosting children's physical and mental health. They hardly sat for a second and kept themselves engaged in sharpening their fine and gross motor skills through exploring and experiencing different areas of the arcade. They were also treated to a feast to re-energize their well utilized energy.
Colour Day Colours are, undoubtedly, nature's biggest gift and hold the ability to bring happiness and smile on our faces. Students as well as teachers look forward to Colour Days the most. In the first term, every last Friday of the month was celebrated as Colour Day. These Fridays turned out to be the most beautiful days of these months, with children's faces sparkling and beaming with joy and thrill. Every Colour Day, the school was filled with theme related amazing and diverse clothing lines and the teachers designed activities which matched that colour’s authenticity. It was wonderful to see how colours can be used to help our young children develop holistically.
Sports Mania Sports play a vital role in a child’s development as it teaches patience, strength, leadership, determination and social skills. To showcase the skills instilled by inhouse sports activities, Beaconhouse E-11 Campus organized their annual sports event ‘Sports Mania 2022’ on Monday, 28th February 2022, in Islamabad Sports Complex. Using sports themed art work, the outer tracks were beautifully transformed in to a colorful arena which raised the spirits of these young athletes even higher. Mr. Masud Khan (Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania), Ms. Malika Noor (ex.Vice captain of National cricket team) & Mr. Ali Sultan (Lifelong Martial Artist) graced the event with their esteemed presence. The entire school marched on the beat of the school band. After the recitation of the Holy Quran and National Anthem, the branch head and two youngest students of the school declared the event open. The event consisted of the spectacular display by tiny-tots of Early Years, followed by 7 Continents Display by Grade 1 & 2 students and a well synchronized Taekwondo, Tile Breaking & Gymnastic Display by Primary students. The parents were excited to be the part of such event after the pandemic, spectated the event keenly and appreciated the efforts put in by the entire team. Medals and certificates were awarded to the students by the chief guests. The event was a success as it brought smiles and sense of achievement in energetic young beaconites.
Cultural Day “If we are to preserve culture we must continue to create it.” It is said that the magnificence of a nation lies in its ethnic exclusiveness. Culture , in its true essence , expresses the exuberance of a vibrant society – a society that truly celebrates the presence of diversity. Our annual cultural celebration is a representation of our creative expression that helps define who we are and helps us mark our individuality among the diver sity of planet earth. The students of Beaconhouse E-11, therefore, celebrated the cultural day as a demonstration of respect and recognition they hold for the multiplicity of cultures prevalent in Pakistan. This experience helped them to understand the commonalities as well as differences between the diverse cultures around us.
Cultural Games Games help children to interact with each other. Children love playing games because they help generate a spirit of collabora-
tion and competition. Cultural games, specifically, represent a healthy part of our cultural heritage. They help students to get acquainted with the different ways in which children from di-
verse cultures spend time with each other. Keeping this spirit alive, students participated in cultural games, as a part of our celebration of cultural week. They participated in Kabaddi— which was played Asian style -, Kho kho, Pithoo, Stapoo, Langri Pala/Sher, Gilli-Danda, Bandar Qilla, Kokla Chappakki, Pakran Pakrai, Baraf Pani, Oonch Neech, Aankh Macholi, Chuppan Chuppai,
Kikli and Adhi Chharhapa.
PTM The parent-teacher meetings were held twice during the academic year. It provided parents and teachers to communicate with each other regarding the academic growth and progress of students. Parent participation for both the PTMs was commendable and demonstrated the parents’ concern for the academic progress of their children.
Women’s Day International Women’s Day was celebrated on 8th March to honour the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The school management honoured the teachers as well as the support staff for their achievements—as women—in the educational sphere. The male staff at school spoke about how important the role of women is in all spheres of life.
Official Visits Constructive feedbacks and instant support is the key to success for any branch. Thus the visits from Head Office, by Mr. Ali Khan (COO BSS) & Mr. Zia-Ul-Aleem Khan (GM Operations) and from the Regional Office by Mr. Khawaja Haider Latif (RD-North), proved to be beneficial for the holistic development of both students and staff.

CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM Workshop Major Nadeem, from Regional Office North, conducted a workshop to brief the Crisis Response Team of BKI-E11, to deal with any minor or major crisis which may occur during the school hours.
SUPER Projects Grade 1 to 5 participated in SUPER Projects to demonstrate their learning in Science, Urdu, PSHE, English and Religious Studies. The cross-disciplinary approach helped students to apply their knowledge in real-life situations through experiential learning. Students learned how to collaborate and communicate with each other, whilst working on these projects, which helped them in their socio-emotional growth.
International Kangaroo Competitions Medals, badges, a number of gifts were won by all the participants of International Kangaroo Competitions !
Graduation Ceremony Graduation ceremony of Kindergarten & Grade 5 was organized to mark the achieved milestone and celebrate their success & accomplishments!
