TABLE OF CONTENTS HM's Desk Leader in Me Initiative Co & Extra Curriculars Professional Development

From the Head Mistress' Desk Greetings to all the Leaders! I hope that you are healthy and well, and are enjoying special times with loved ones. This term is over and has given us a bundle of memories to cherish forever. In this term, an amazing initiative of Leader in Me has paved another way to enhance and inculcate leadership skills in the students. It was not only empowering for the students, but also enlightened the parents and faculty to polish their leadership skills by working on the 7 habits of effective people. Such initiatives and continuous counseling help in the character development of students, therefore bringing a constructive change in society. Besides all the impressive work happening inside the classroom, I would like to mention the enthusiastic involvement of students in the vibrant activities held for Global Dignity Day, Peace Day, and various inter and intra-school competitions; while the wholehearted contributions to the morning assembly presentations need not be undermined. The term came to a fitting climax with the fun and frolic at School Trips and at the Club and House Culmination activities. Our staff also rose above any obstacles in our way and did an excellent job. Living up to its legacy, BSS- HSCR held professional development training for its teaching faculty too in various domains. We strive to uphold a school environment that is collaborative in nature and draws on the strengths of all stakeholders – our parent body, the students, and the staff! To ensure that students remain devoted to academia and perform better in their studies along with their holistic development, it is suggested to reduce the screen time of students and always allow them to use mobile or laptops under parental supervision. In spite of the uncertainties we face, I am confident without a doubt that our spirit and positive energy, teamwork, and dedication to excellence will guide us through another successful school term. Wishing you all a prosperous and wonderful year! Warm regards, Ms Sumairah Naveed. BSS-HSCR
