New Beginnings IBDP orientations were held twice for the students of XI-C. Mrs. aziaAdeel from [ewlands and Mrs. Busl Jamal from BMI visited the Branch and briefed the students on the benefits of opting Internatiot Baccalaureate Program. A team from BMI A-Levels and AGAL visited the branch to orientate the studei about the "A" Levels program and subjects offered in their branches.

Strive to Save Wetlands Wetland Day is commemorated all over the world which highlights the importance of benefits of Wetlands for Me ature and planet Earth. Students were engaged in different activities like presentations and poster making to high the importance of saving Wetlands.

Mehfil-e Milad at BSTRG ehfil-e-Milad was celebrated with great reverence. Students recited Hamds and Naats with zest and expressed ir immense love and deep affection for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They renewed their pledge to ly follow 'Seerat-un-Nabi' and spread the message of peace, tolerance, harmony and affection. Mothers were I 0 invited at Milad Shareef. Everyone felt spiritually elevated as they listened to the holy recitals.
Open Forum Debate Preparation Session The Inter-class English Open forum debate session was held on 17thFebruary ,2016 at BSTR-G. Students of grade X- C and IX-C participated in the event. Headmistress Mrs. Samina Imran and Senior Mistress Mrs. Marium Shafiq were the judges of the event. The topics were 'Prisoners should be given the right to cast the vote 'and 'Free will is an illusion'. Although it was a preparation session, both teams conducted thorough research on their respective topics. Fatima Waheed, Fizza Khan and Khudeeja Nadeem of grade X-C were declared winners of the session.Momina Zaigham and Mya Shafiq of grade X-C hosted the session.
Students of Gardening club observed Plantation Day on n" of March at BSTR-G .The purpose of this activity was to enlighten students about importance of planting trees on Earth. Students of Gardening club took oath and pledge of planting more and more trees in their surroundings.

Let Your Words Do The Talking
The Inter-class bilingual Debate and Speech Competition was held for the students at BSTR-G. Students fror grade 6- till grade 8 participated in the event. Mrs. Fouzia Qamar and Mrs.Afshan Qasim from BSTR-B grace the event as judges. For English Debates the topics were 'Men are better chefs than women', 'Today's children are fashion victim: and 'Success is important for leading a happy life'. For Urdu Speech Competition the topics were: 'Nami kc baghair musbaqat nahi hua', 'Arooj-e-Adam-e-Khaki say anjum sebmai jatai hen' and 'Hay dil kay liay mot machino ki haqoomat'. DaniyaAmir (6A) , Noor-ul-Ain -Sheraz (7A), Aarnna Waheed (8B) scored position in English Debate. Lubaina Javed, Aima Nisar, Savera Niaz (8A) and Zainab asir (6A) won the Urd Speech Competition.
Having Fun with Ingredients An exciting Bake Sal was organized by BSTR-G to raise funds for donation to 'EDHI FOUNDATION " ai organization which is working for rehabilitation of orphans and homeless children The students sold delicious baked items like cupcakes, cookies, pizza, brownies, macaroni, sandwiches, chai mini burgers etc. along with homemade drinks to delight people with sweet treats. A handsome amount wa collected which was donated to the 'EDHI FOUNDATION'.
Art Gallery At BSTR-G Budding artists of Grade VI-VII showcased their talent in the Gallery Walk organized on 28th March, 2016 in the school campus. The theme ofthe 'Gallery walk 'was "Social issues". The purpose of this activity ... was to encourage children to reflect and critically evaluate different social issues, draw or paint as solutions of these issues. Share Moments Share Patriotism Gaiety and patriotic fervour marked celebrations of23Td March at BSTR-G. The faculty and students from all classes gathered in the school ground to celebrate and chant in unison on the rhythm of unity, anthem oflove and purity for their beloved homeland.
Visit to British Council English Extravaganza A delegate from BSTR-G comprising of Headmistress Mrs. Samina lmran, students and teachers visited English Extravaganza organized by British Council. The students and teachers were introduced to multifarious lCT integrated resources through which language skills of students could be enhanced.
Students' Participation in WWF Spellathon Beaconites of BSTR-G participated in WWF Spellathon. Their efforts were highly appreciated and they were given gifts from WWF as a token of appreciation.
O-Level Orientation Session for Parents An Orientation session for parents was conducted by Senior Mistress Mrs. Maryam Shafiq. The purpose was to enlighten the parents regarding their choice of selecting between Matriculation or eIE streams for their Wards.

B TR-G was proud to host INSET for a-Level teachers ofSGO-2. Subject specialists conducted work h for Urdu, Islamiat, Accounting, Science, English, Chemistry and Physics. Revision plans were made and en program was held for the preparation ofCIE for X-C and XI -C Students.
Nourishment of BSTR¡G Students (Twin City Middle School Sports Gala 2015¡16) BSTR -G made a mark in '2nd BNR Twin City Middle School Sports Gala 2105-16 'and scored first position in 'Throwball Tournament'. BSTR-G was also titled as 'Best School of the tournament'. Shiza Aamir from 7-PJ was awarded the title of'Best player of the Tournament'.
Students from grade 6-8 participated in BINGO and received certificates distributed by respected Headmistress Mrs. Samina Imran.
PTMs Two PTMs were conducted on 10th Feb, 2016 and 25th April, 2016 to update the parents about their wards' progress.
Toss Some Confetti in The Air and Celebrate Students of 11- C and 10 -M were given appraisals at the high achievers' ceremony for showing best result in CIE and Matric 2015.

An Online Intra-School Competition was hosted by BSTR-G on April 18, 2016 for grade 8 at SG Level Hamna Irnran and Arnna Waheed secured 2nd position in the competition 'Advertisements by Using Comics'. Online Competition of Photo Collage Making Students of BSTR-G also participated in an Online Intra-School Collage making competition held on April 5th• 2016 hosted by BSTR-B. Zainab Nasir from 6-A won the consolation prize.
BSTRG Soaks in Cultural Day Extravaganza The Cultural Day extravaganza was celebrated at BSTR -G with full enthusiasm. The Cultural Day comprised of various activities, where students showcased cultures of seven different countries including China, Spain, India, Egypt, Turkey, Italy and Pakistan. The day started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and proceeded with an art and craft exhibition as well as singing and cultural dance performances by the students. The captivating Chinese Umbrella dance, Traditional Egyptian dance, Turkish Sufi dance, Spanish dance and Indian Tamilian dance with a colorful exhibition of traditional dresses entertained the audience to the full. Parents' turnover was great and they viewed a vast array of different cuisines and variegated cultural dresses on display and highly appreciated students and teachers' efforts. I

A Social Revolution in BSTR-G Culmination Day of clubs was held in BSTR -G on 29th April, 2016. All clubs showcased a fiesta of activities t exhibit students' talents and creativity, thus preparing the students for 21 st century learning skills. Th Gardening Club showcased their activities which were conducted throughout the year in form of a presentatio and brochures. There were role-plays and numerous speeches from the promising participants of Engli Literary Club. Cookery Club stole the show by presenting flavourable and palatable eatables and drinks t guests. Aerobics was one of the best displays in which students displayed exciting performances with musi Self-Grooming Club showcased innovative hair styles and makeup. Stitching Club showcased their wor comprising of different techniques of embroidery. Music Club entertained audience with their melodious patriotic songs.
Visit of BSTR-P Grade V girls from BSTR-P with their teachers visited the Branch on Clubs' Culmination Day and made the day special, as students of primary branch were given an opportunity to view the club activities and get acquaintaned with their future branch.
Mother's Day was celebrated at BSTR-G. Each class was given a different ambiance to make the day more special for mothers. Students presented flowers, special cards to their mothers expressing their love. Mothers also took photographs with their daughters to make memories.

Hustle Hit, Never Quit Young, vibrant and enthusiastic students of BSTR-G stole the show with their energizing performances on the annual Intra House Sports Gala. The school ground was beautifully adorned with different balloons, where the students competed in a variety of competitions like 'Throw Ball', and 'Dodge the ball '. The closing ofthe event was marked with the distribution of trophies and medals to the winners by respected Headmistress Mrs. Samina Imran.
