I have recently joined the Beaconhouse School System family as Headmistress at BSTRPand am delighted to be a part of this excellent Satellite Town Primary Branch. Two of the basic processes of education are 'knowing' and 'valuing'. Based on these, my team and I will help to ensure that every child in our care enjoys the best of opportunities to explore, learn and grow as they discover hidden talents every day. A Golden Opportunity for Interaction
The second and third Parent-Teacher meetings provided an excellent opportunity to teachers and parents to discuss the child's performance throughout the term. These meetings help in formulating individualised plans to help make better progress in the future.

News & Events Brain Teasers for Mathematlcal Genluses The International Mathematics Kangaroo Competition is held all over the world and it aims to generate an interest in and promote mathematical thinking. Participating students compete locally, nationally as well as internationally. Students from BSTR-P submitted their entries for the internationa I competition on March 18th 2010.

A Religious Occasion Suggested: The school hosted the annual Milad in March and, as always, students recited beautiful and soul-stirring 'naats'. The event was spiritually uplifting and sweetmeats were distributed amongst all students, teachers and faculty.

from the Pakistan Red
on
March
26th
2010.
Representatives addressed the student and talked about pollen allergies. The discussion focussed on prevention and explained at length the symptoms, preventative measures, and cures for this malady. A free clinic was also held on the occasion.

Spring Festival Spring is the most beautiful season of the year. It is a time when winter gives way to warmer temperatures and the earth springs to life with an abundance of flowers. Virtually every country and culture has festivals in spring.

BSTR-P held a Spring Festival on 23rd of April, 2010. The entire school was dotted with colourful,
vibrant flowers and their fragrance
was heavy in the air. The sounds of cheerful
children and the chirping birds set the perfect stage forthe activities.

Spring festivals make very special childhood memories, and are all about being young, having fun and living it up. Students look forward to the variety of exciting sports activities, games, and especially to having theirfaces painted! The singing competition
was a great deal of fun and students got a chance to perform their
favourite songs onstage before an audience who were enthralled by the young 'idols' of BSTR-P. There was also a food court with a vast array of scrumptious food items. The event was well coordinated
and everyone had a fun-filled

,.. Importance of the World Around Us The annual Spellathon and Quiz Competition sponsored by the WWF was held in April. It encourages and promotes awareness of the environment and conservation of nature. BSTR-Pstudents participating in the World Wildlife Fund Spellathon worked their way through vocabulary relating to animal life and the wondrous world of nature. i
Earth Day The activities organised to mark Earth Day at BSTR-P included poster-making and speech competitions. The students took tremendous interest in the competitions and had also done extensive research on environmental issues and the steps that can be taken to resolve them.

Cricket Fever Cricket matches were held between all sections of Class-V in the month of January. Undefeated champions were Class-V Red.
