Our new academic session started on the 3'd August 2015 with a new energy and hope to make maximum progress and development throughout the year. New initiatives have been introduced for this academic year by BSS Head office, which includes the new Early Years curriculum, introduction of Personal health, safety and environmental hygiene as a subject from Class I-VIII. Teachers & Head were given training sessions regarding these for better implementation of the initiatives. New Early Years curriculum has given more autonomy to teachers as they can now plan their own lessons according to a range of short & long term attainment targets as well as search and conduct activities according to the objectives. Assessments also have to be made by each teacher for assessing the achievement of the targets being covered. Teachers will now research and find out ways to make their lessons more meaningful and interesting. Teachers were given two days training sessions by School Group Academic Team and were assigned tasks to complete in order to show their understanding of the new curriculum.
