Beaconhouse School System Primary Branch Peshawar From HM's Desk: As another session of our illustrious school draws to a close, I nd myself very grateful. First and foremost I thank God as always for shining his benevolence upon us. Secondly, I would like to thank and congratulate our beloved students; the respected parents, who have always made great efforts and sacrices for their children; and last but not the least, our hardworking faculty who played a vital part in making this year just as eventful and magnanimous as all the ones that have preceded it. No doubt that we have all deserved a pat on the back for breathing life into the spirit of Beaconhouse School System. I truly believe that we are all like gears and working-parts of clockwork, where each of us plays an integral part in making the school what it is. And I am so thrilled to see that we have been successful yet again. Like every year in Beaconhouse, the main expedient and aim of ours is to impart our students with essential education in order to polish them and benet their characters with the fundamental traits that one needs in order to succeed in society. We do this by not only focusing on academics but by also guiding the students to enjoy and explore the full freedoms of childhood with complete autonomy. For I personally believe in the proverb “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. And I am positive that as this session ends, our students will have grown even more; not only in mind but in spirit also. They will have gained vital new perspectives, learned new things, made more friends, and explored their characters upon the foundations of which they will build great individuals. I am deeply proud of them, and am positively certain that with the advent of our new session; we will once again embark on our wondrous journey together and repeat the success that we have attained this year. Of that I am absolutely sure. Finally, I would like to wish our students the best of luck, and will be looking forward to meeting them again next term. May God bless you all. Aameen.

GALLERY WALK The primary branch of Beaconhouse School System in Peshawar recently kick-started its event in the campus under the name of "Gallery Walk". The event comprised a series of small games and activities that were arranged by ve prominent societies who comprised the overall theme and bodies of the Gallery Walk. For one, the event was geared at the helm by the Eco club whose main purpose was to bring awareness to the preservation of rare exotic plants, and endangered animals in order to safeguard the ecosystem that we humans humbly enjoy with all other living beings on earth. Meanwhile the Life Skills club pursued and wanted students to acquaint themselves with the process of how to create and formally set up their own respective bank accounts. The technical know-how that they imparted the students with was instrumental for their awareness of the processes and protocols to follow in real world scenarios where they could set themselves as responsible and self-sufcient individuals. The Life Skills club also set up a chef's corner where stalls were set up that made scrumptious and delicious sandwiches along with crispy, crunchy fries. One admirable aspect that the club imparted to their students was decent table manners and social etiquette which would help them exhibit sophisticated, well rounded manners in social situations. The Arts and Crafts club delivered the real eye candy in the event after they sculptured trucks made out of cartons. The trucks were beautifully painted using a blend of bright appeasing colors that epitomized the culture of Pakistan. The Arts club also displayed custom made quilts and cushions that were emblazoned, adorned, and inscribed with different colored beads and embroidery. All in all, the clubs' efforts were aesthetically very fullling and resplendent to the general context of Gallery Walk. The Music Club really breathed life into the event and never gave it a chance to be dry as the students sang melodic sounds over backing tracks. Their young voices provided an aural experience to the crowd and imbedded the event with a barrage of sounds that gave the whole event an extra dimension. The Health and Fitness clubs necessitated and advocated the need for perpetual physical exercise for sound physical health and spiritual wellbeing of the mind. They encouraged this philosophy by engaging their students in gymnastics, aerobics and other entertaining physical activities. All in all, the Gallery Walk was an auspicious event that not only kept its students entertained with fun activities but also imparted serious moral and important values that would help them to be accomplished, polished, and meritorious individuals in the real world. And the school's generous intentions were made glaringly obvious in the efforts they translated into making the Gallery Walk such fun for all the students and teachers who participated in it.
