We hope to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics, sports and co–curricular activities will mold our students and spur them on to be the brightest and the best.

We aim to give every student the very best possible education in order to prepare them for life beyond school. We are a `learning community’ and would remain to strive hard to do even better.

Beginning of Academic Session 2020-21

Pakistan Independence Day Celebrations

“Freedom cannot be bestowed — it must be achieved.”

10th August, 2020 was the first day of the new Academic year. Since the pandemic was in vogue, our teachers were determined to welcome our dear students virtually. The atmosphere was quite vibrant due to the celebrations of Independence day.

All the teachers welcomed their students virtually by quoting motivational messages. On 13th August, students celebrated their national day with full zeal by sharing beautiful and extravagant posters, messages and videos of patriotic songs.

Senior Citizen’s Day

“Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.” Mark Twain

The World Senior Citizen's Day is celebrated on 21 August each year. The motive of education is always to promote empathy and respect towards each citizen of Pakistan. For this purpose, students were motivated by the teachers to record videos or capture the moments of celebrating this day with their grandparents or any of their senior relatives to encourage empathy and respect towards them.

Teachers’Day

Teachers' Day is celebrated on 5th October every year, Students of BPPM celebrated ‘Teachers day’ by making posters and cards to honour teachers for their significant contributions in shaping their life. A special cake cutting ceremony was also organised to cherish the moments.

Virtual Elections

Virtual Elections were held at BPPM PWD Primary and Middle Branch on 7th October 2020 with full zeal and zest. Candidates had their virtual and face to face energized campaigns. Students voted for their 'Head Boy' and 'Head Girl' through virtual voting setup. The elected students had interview with the HM Ms. Naheed Fatima.

BSU Teacher Recognition Ceremony

Teachers are modern day heroes, for they have touched Children's lives in so many ways. BPPM takes pride in rewarding the teachers for their untiring efforts during BSU. A special ceremony was organized to acknowledge the efforts of teaching staff. HM Ms. Naheed Fatima gave away the certificates later on followed by the school teaching staff photograph for the session 2020-21.

Global Dignity Day

Global Dignity Day is celebrated around the world to make everyone realise that we all have rights and deserve respect. A spirited celebration of Dignity Week was held at BPPM PWD Primary and Middle Branch from 15th till 21st of October 2020. Students of each level were engaged with different activities. Students’ enthusiastically participated in designing their own classroom dignity walls. They shared their own perspective through beautiful posters that later on became a part of Global Dignity Wall. Whereas showing gratitude with under-privileged schools’ students they presented token of love, in forms of sanitizers, masks and soaps to develop more caring world around. Middle school students participated in a thematic photography competition. Dignity Ambassadors’ were selected from each section aiming to nurture the value of dignity amongst the students. Ms. Naheed Fatima (Headmistress) gave away the badges to the proud students followed by an oath taking ceremony.

The Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony of the session 2020-21 took place at BSS PWD Primary and Middle Branch on 22nd October, 2020. Affan Ahmed from 8B and Haram Setthi from 8A were elected as Head Boy and Head Girl. The ceremony was held in the school ground. The Headmistress Ms. Naheed Fatima presented sashes to the student body. The new student body consisted of the Head Boy and Girl and House Representatives. An oath-taking ceremony also took place where the student body took oaths and promised to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

30th Kangaroo Mathematics Contest

30th Kangaroo Mathematics Contest was held on 17th October 2020 in the branch. The geniuses of our school participated with full confidence and zest. Sufwan Ahmed Badar ( Class VII B) secured a bronze medal in the contest . Congratulations Sufwan!

BSS Birthday

Happy Birthday BEACONHOUSE!

The 45th anniversary of BSS was celebrated heartily at BPPM PWD Primary and Middle Branch. Proud beaconites shared the success story of BSS to highlight how Beaconhouse has led the way in academics, curricular and co-curricular activities for the last 45 years. Students of BPPM decorated their ‘BSS Birthday class walls’ with party flags, birthday cards and birthday wishes. Students also created their E-cards and posters to show their love. They had their cupcake parties while wishing BSS Birthday wishes. Lucky draw winners released the yellow and blue balloons in the ground, students really enjoyed the moments when their balloons were unleashed into the sky. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commensurate the anniversary celebration. The purpose to celebrate this day was to develop sense of ownership and also to show the love for the school.

BPPM Milad

This special event was arranged to pay tribute and to highlight different aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The whole school participated in the Milad and every class recited a Naat along with their teachers . Students had their group wise face to face turns, they also had their whole class Virtual Milad on 6th November through Google Meet. Girls wore white dupattas with the border of silver gotta, boys also covered their heads to show their love and respect towards the holy month and occasion. The efforts of the students and staff were highly appreciated through Facebook page.

Iqbal Day

An event was organised by BPPM Urdu Department on 9th November, 2020 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammd Iqbal. Young beaconites of BPPM paid homage to the great philosopher. Speeches were also delivered by the students to highlight Iqbal’s message for the youth. They shared famous poetry by Allama Iqbal in beautiful ways. It was an enthusiastic event for the students where they were reminded of the great personality of Dr. Allama Iqbal.

Essay Writing Competition

Writers are meant to dive into the ocean of imagination and reveal the pearls of fantasies in the form of their write ups. BPPM has always ensured to uplift its students skills of writing and conduct different competitions. In this regard English and Urdu Essay writing competition was held in the branch on 17th November where students participated with great fervor.

EnergyAwareness and Conservation Week

Energy Awareness and Conservation week celebrated by BPPM. Students exercised and created many projects to showcase their talent.

Celebration of Urdu Week started from 10th November 2020. This was a step taken to pay tribute to Urdu poets and promote Urdu language and literature. Many competitions were arranged during the week i.e. Poetry competition, Urdu Mushaira, Urdu handwriting competition and speech competition. Students participated with a lot of passion and enthusiasm.

International Mountains Day

"After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb." -

International Mountain Day is observed on December 11 every year and BBPM always celebrates it enthusiastically. This year students were asked to create posters related to mountains to show importance of them. Many students shared their memorable trips climbing the beautiful mountains of Pakistan. This activity inculcated the spirit of discovering the importance of natural feature and how they have an impact in our lives.

BSS Mask Stories Competition

Talented and creative students of BPPM participated in BSS mask stories and designed their own hand painted masks. The event was announced on 30th November 2020. Quaid-e-Azam Day

The auspicious occasion of 25th December which is the birthday of the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam

Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It is one such unique event which is held with great devotion and fervor to pay homage to our great leader. Students of BPPM designed E-posters to pay tribute to the great leader. They made ‘Go Green’ arrangements.

BPPM Winter Warm-Up Spirit

Kashmir Solidarity Day:

Kashmir Day or Kashmir Solidarity Day is celebrated in Pakistan on February 5th each year. It focuses on showing Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom. Just like every year the students of BPPM also participated in many activities to show their love and support for their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. On 3rd February 2021the students of BPPM wore beautiful Kashmiri attires, made beautiful posters and cards. They shared their work in the form of poetry recital, awareness posters.

BPPM Virtual Carnival 2021:

After a remarkable success of BPPM Virtual Gala in 2020 Beaconhouse PWD Primary and Middle Branch got the opportunity to host BPPM Virtual Carnival Part 2. The event was started on 10th of February 2021. A whole week was dedicated to the event and different branches were invited to participate. There were six categories where students were welcomed participate and compete with the students of other Beaconhouse Campuses. They shared their videos till 16th Feb,2021 The purpose was not only to foster creativity and innovation but also to cheer in lockdown and to keep the spirits high amid coronavirus gloom.

'International day of Women and Girls in Science:

Science is not limited just to one gender rather it is an opportunity for every human to learn and contribute to science. Having firm belief in that ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’ was celebrated by the students of Beaconhouse PWD Primary & Middle Branch on 11th February 2021. Students of all levels from Grade 2 to 8 participated in different activities. In their science lesson students did poster making to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. E-Posters and short documentaries were also created by students of different levels to pay tribute to the famous women scientists. In short speeches students also shared

National Vlog competition:

Beaconhouse PED Primary and Middle Branch has always catered holistic needs of the students and has always broadened their skills through various exposures. To keep their spirits intact during this pandemic, Alizeh Mati of 4B participated in National Vlog competition held by Beaconhouse Jauhar campus. She has made us extremely proud by entering into the finale. Hurry on 19th February 2021 Alizeh secured third position in the National Vlog competition. Alizeh captured the immensely beautiful scenic snaps and videos of the capital city of Pakistan with appropriate description in her vlog. Her voice over added a cherry on top which attracted maximum attention of the judges in the panel. We are super proud of her and congratulations to the whole BPPM to have another feather added to our cap.

International Language Day:

International Mother Language is a worldwide observance, which is held annually since 2000. The day promotes peace and multilingualism across the universe and to preserve all mother languages. The theme of the 2021 International Mother Language Day was, “Fostering multilingualism for inclusion in education and society,” Once again students of Beaconhose PWD Primary and Middle Branch showed their keen interest with their active participation. On 21st February 2021 Ruba Safee 4B, Zaeem Talat 4B, Ayesha Roman 4B, Rameesha Ali 3B, Pareeshay Khan 2B and many other students sent the recorded messages in their mother language to show their interest and knowledge and to promote cultural diversity.
