ASSEMBLY PRESENTATION Morning assemblies are important. A school is an institution where everyone needs to assemble and meet up every day, to carry out all the functions and be well informed about the school happenings. Jauhar Primary Years has been organizing assembly presentations on various topics like healthy lifestyles, functions of different body parts, moral values etc throughout the term to enhance the confidence level of the students and to develop a feeling of affiliation and unity among students. Hundred percent participation was ensured in all levels and it provided an opportunity to students with training in good social behavior desired in public life.
HANDS ON ACTIVITIES Being hands-on is especially important in the classroom because it allows students to engage in kinesthetic learning. Studies have shown that kinesthetic learning, where a student carries out physical activities rather than listening to a lecture, is the most popular type of learning with students - 'doing' helps them to gain a better understanding of the material. It allows students to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes, and understand the potential gaps between theory and practice. And most important, it provides educators with a unique opportunity to enrich the minds of their students in new and engaging ways. Teachers and students of Jauhar Primary Years have been involved in various hands on activities throughout the term in all subjects. Different activities have been planned in by all teachers to nurture creativity and innovation through design, and by exploring the world in which we all live and work.

Jauhar Primary Years promotes this art of enacting stories as it a part of students learning. Helping children to enact was a fun activity and it has given potential to work wonders to the mental development of the child. The process was basically a natural follow through the reading and story-telling sessions. It has been noticed that kids have a natural propensity for enacting characters and situations from the stories that they have been reading or listening to. All students of Jauhar Primary Years actively participated in this event and enacted different stories. This event was highly appreciated by the parents as they were happy to see their children delivering dialogues with proper intonation and confidence.
GLOBAL DIGNITY DAY Global Dignity Day is celebrated to make everyone realize that each person living in this world has their rights and deserves respect. Dignity means the state or quality of being worthy of honour and respect, or human rights. On this day, students participated in healthy discussion on what basically dignity and respect are, followed by the PowerPoint Presentation using ICT means to describe what they understand by GDD. They also selected one student among themselves as the GLOBAL DIGNITY AMBASSADOR, who took an oath for being a role model to implement and exemplify dignity. Global Dignity Day thus serves as a benchmark for children to measure their success and as a reminder of what they find truly important in life. Special Intersection Art contest was arranged for the students with mothers for both levels. Both mothers and students enjoyed the event and made sure to give their best.
