The First Word Library as a Learning Resource Center Dear Parents, “Learning today means more than memorizing facts”. It means learning to learn for lifetime. As we all experience that school library is the key to teaching students not just to read but to produce the skills they need to evaluate and use information throughout their lives. Our library is fully equipped , attractive with convenient space, where children can work individually and in small groups. It has a wide range of resources in a variety of books, computers, audio and videotapes that appeal to different learning styles. We provide a full range of print and electronic resources. We encourage our children to read view and listen both for understanding and enjoyment. We extend learning opportunities beyond the textbook and classroom for higher students 'achievement and their learning outcomes. I request parents to read together with your child. for fun and enjoyment which will help your child succeed in school as research shows that children who are read at home do better in school. Regards, Riffat Naseem Headmistress
