The first word Dear Parents and Guardians, Active Learning

“Active Learning is an approach to teaching and learning which is an appropriate way for children to develop vital skills and knowledge. A positive attitude towards learning which engages and challenges children's thinking using . real life and imaginary situation”. (SEED 2007) As mentioned above, active learning is an integral part of teaching at Jauhar KG-II through which we are taking our curriculum towards excellence. We use curriculum guidelines to ensure smooth transition in what children . learn and how they learn. This emphasizes the importance of opportunities for children to learn through purposeful well planned play, which eventually enables our students to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible . citizens and effective contributors in society. This newsletter is a reflection of co and extracurricular activity based learning throughout the term as Jauhar KG-II has a brilliant track record of achievements not only in academics but in curricular and extracurricular activities as well. I wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Academic Year. Regards Saima Naeem Head Mistress Jauhar KG-II
