encouraged to vigorously wash their hands in the restroom and use hand sanitizer in the classroom. Management and staff of the school are fully vaccinated, and now we are aiming for 100% vaccinated students. I am sure, that with your support and cooperation, we will achieve this target too. Our team will continue to embed critical thinking and collaboration across all content areas. We will also continue working diligently to meet the diverse needs of our students through differentiated and interactive lessons across all grade levels and emphasize on meaningful, timely feedback to help students work towards academic mastery. Our continued commitment to fostering resilience, perseverance, grit, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively in diverse learning partnerships will undoubtedly help our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As a responsible school, our deliberate work to instill tools for self-regulation and emotional wellness will carry on through PSHE lessons by our teachers and counselling sessions by our Child Protection Committee members. Jauhar Campus has an impressive history of producing extra ordinary results in the CAIE and public examinations. With great pride, I would like to share here, this year also our students have honored us with exceptional results. Three of our students in O level scored 10A* and A while three students of Matric-10 got 96%. Campus cumulative GPA of O level is 4.06 while for Matric is 4.18. Even the uncertainty in pandemic could not stop our student from progressing. We have also started the Intermediate college this year and I am hopeful that our college students will also prove that Jauhar Campus students outshine at every platform. National / International Days Celebrations Independence Day ―In Pakistan lies our deliverance, defense and honor‖- M. Ali Jinnah An online extended assembly was held in which students performed a number of activities that included singing patriotic songs, participating in quizzes etc. The students painted faces in green and white, waved national flags, wore badges and green dupattas reflecting their happiness and excitement. For their beloved country.
Virtual Orientation Session The orientation session assisted students, as well as parents, in transitioning from primary to middles and guided them in the next step of their educational journey. The session provided the students with an opportunity to learn how things work at their school and meet the faculty members.
Stimulate Inspiration Step towards a dignified tomorrow! A motivational talk was organized for the school community to spread awareness, educate and inspire others on ‘Global Dignity Day‘. Our students as emerging speakers talked effortlessly about spreading kindness, motivation and respect through their speeches.

Global Dignity Day - Photo Contest "No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity."- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A photography competition on the theme "Dignity of Work" was organized to celebrate Global Dignity Day. The students were motivated to acknowledge the efforts and show respect for all professions regardless of how minor their role can be, through their photography skills. The students' work was appreciated by displaying them for voting. The winners of the competition were as follows:
Global Dignity Day - Skype Session This year students of Middle school collaborated with Jordan‘s Al-Hussein Preparatory school, via a Skype conference call to discuss the importance of dignity and compassion. The students designed dignity posters after researching quotes in Arabic and English, narrated stories and wrote poems and anthems of dignity and endowed it to their online friend.
International Library Week Activities ―I don‘t have to look far to find treasures. I discover them every time I visit a library‖Michael Embry. To emphasize on the importance of libraries and books in our lives, the students of Jauhar Campus actively participated in ‗International School Library week‘. They were provided with an opportunity to showcase their talent by writing poems on the theme, ‗Poet Tree‘. In addition to this, students of Grade 6 and 7 designed posters of the cover pages of their favorite books which culminated in a gallery walk where students gave their critical feedback. Students also made their own comic strips, using their imagination. It was a delightful new experience of sharing stories with their friends.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES BSS 46th Birthday BSS 46th birthday was celebrated at Jauhar Campus on 4th November‘ 2021. Students and teachers wished BSS a very happy birthday during the extended assembly.
Excursion Trip to Arena Recreation, entertainment and leisure are crucial in a student's life. Therefore, excursion trips are a great way for socialization, relaxation as well as unstructured learning. To keep that balance between recreation and education, students of Class 7 and 8 went for a trip to Arena and enjoyed the trip filled with excitement and adventure.
Educational Trip to TDF It was a wonderful opportunity for our six graders to peek into the history of our city Karachi and experience the lifestyle of people back in the 1930s along with the glimpses of events that took place in the city at the time of partition of India.

Student Council "The selection and election of the student council is one of the most real-life experience for students because it provides an opportunity to experience the ―democratic process‖ in reality. All willing students submitted their nomination forms and were interviewed by the panelists, who shortlisted 4 best nominees for election of heads of the prefectorial council. School walls were decorated with brightly coloured posters. Students demonstrated their support by wearing badges and headbands of their favourite candidates. All students casted their votes on the Election day demonstrating a sense of responsibility and confidence on choosing the candidate of their liking. We are pleased to announce the heads of the prefectorial council. Faray Nawaz (VIII G) as Head Boy, Aliza Al Nadeem(VIII D) as Head Girl, Mekaeel Rashid (VII D) as Deputy Head Boy and Maria Saeed (VII- J) as Deputy Head Girl. Other contestants qualified to become part of the Prefectorial council.
Naat Competition In order to commemorate the revered month of Rabi-ul-Awal, a Naat Competition was organized. Students wholeheartedly participated in the event. Syed Owais Haider Naqvi, Asad Ayub and Ms Faiza Kamran, renowned names in the field of Na‘at adjudicated the students. The competition commenced with Qirat and then with the Naat. A group of students recited Durood. All the participants enthralled the whole audience.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING ―Parent teacher meetings bring parents and teachers on a common platform to work in collaboration for the betterment of their wards. 1st PTM was held on October 2nd, 2021 .

ACHIEVEMENTS Virtual Sports Competition COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed the way we used to go about our daily lives. Students of class VI to VIII participated in Virtual Sports Competition. The final -Intra-Cluster Round was held on 18th October, 2021. Grade VI students, Muhammad Kaif and Zoya Khan made us proud by securing 2nd position in Single Leg Side Squat by displaying good strength and flexibility in their moves.
International School Award Ms. Sana Farasat and Ms..Samima Batool with their team of teachers under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Nadia Rashid brought laurels to the campus by winning the British Council - International School Award. Each school taking part in ISA was required to complete projects linked with the curriculum on one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The winning schools were announced and an award distribution ceremony was held .
SPORTS Sports Tournaments Middle School students showcased their sports talents in different sports like Cricket, Futsal, Throw ball and Basket Ball. They participated with enthusiasm and competed with each other showing true sportsman ship and keeping spirits in mind.
Sports Gala Sports events provide a necessary change in the study schedule and put their youthful spirit on the right track. The best players from the school sports events were brought together to showcase their sporting skills in 4 team events namely; Basketball, Throw ball, Futsal and Cricket. All the games were played simultaneously in different areas of the sports complex.
