We are thankful to our parents for their constant support and trust in us, as well as, the teachers for making learning engaging & exciting. Back to School: Students of Pre-Nursery to class V engaged in different activities as a warm up.
Orientation Session for the parents: An Orientation Session was conducted for the parents of the newly inducted students from grades one to three. They were briefed about the school curriculum, BSS policies, and various other aspects of school life. Independence Day Celebration: Students of Grade III to V celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day with full zeal and enthusiasm
Line pattern and shapes: Students of Nursery using their creativity while exploring different line patterns with different materials which helped students develop their fine motor skills.
Mark making: Our Pre-Nursery students are busy in mark making while enjoying their second week at school!
Urdu Activity: Students of KG, Learning about Urdu letter and their sounds.
Defence Day: Grade II-V students paid tribute to the great sacrifices of Martyrs, and enthusiastically participated in multiple activities.
Literacy Week (Storytelling and Role Play by Grade1): Story-telling and Role-play are an important aspect of a child’s creative development; as it promotes imagination, and builds confidence, creativity, and empathy. Grade-1 children had a lot of fun playing the different characters from the story "Peace at last. "A story of a bear who couldn’t get proper sleep because of the noises in the environment. . Global Dignity Day: "Global Dignity Day" was celebrated at Beaconhouse College Campus by the students of grades I till V. Global Dignity Day is celebrated every October each year. The initiative educates & inspires youth to help them better understand their self-worth. The day also taps into the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion. Red Day: Colours are indeed the life of nature and the Red colour Inter Cluster Junior Idol Singing Competition: Students of symbolises enthusiasm, life & vitality. The day at BCCQ was started Beaconhouse Qasimabad actively participated in Intra with the colour Red everywhere & our tiny tots looked stunning in Cluster Singing Competition. their Red outfits. It was scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming & reflecting brightness.
Dental Care: "Happy tooth" cleaning activity. Nursery students, got briefing about how to take care of your teeth and how to make them happy.
Themed Related Pajama Party: Pajama party is to assert autonomy to develop their social connections. KG’s observed a pajama party linked with their co-reader “Oliver who would not sleep”.
Wild Life Day Celebration: Lower Primary section celebrated the World Wildlife Day. The objective of the event was to create awareness about the measures that we, the common people can take to save the endangered species of the world and how our daily actions can help the animals sustain in their natural habitat.
Ice Cream Day: To wrap up our "Ice-cream" theme, our tiny tots had a yummy treat day which is a great way to cool down on a hot day.
Literacy Day: Students of Grade II & IV enthusiastically participated in Literacy Week where they were engaged in different activities like jumbled up sentences, memory list, story mapping, storytelling and much much more. What a fun filled day it was!! Goose Birthday (Reader Intro): The little learners of Pre-Nursery’s from Beaconhouse Collage Campus Qasimabad had a great time with their parents. They sang birthday songs, designed invitation cards and experienced the celebration of a birthday party with all its festivity. Culmination of reader "Happy Birthday Goose" by Laura Wall.
Tug of war Competition: Students of Class IV & V actively participated in Inter Class Tug of War competition.
Inter Class Cricket Match: An exciting match of cricket between Upper primary (class 5) and Middle school (class 6) comes to an end. Great sportsmanship was exhibited by both the teams, leaving class 5 as the winning team.
Musical Theater Play (PBL Project): As part of PBL project of Grade II on “Endangered Animals," a special musical play organized by GREEN EYE Production where students were given awareness about the Habitat loss that poses the greatest threat to species.
Rainbow Week: A colourful week was organized based on the theme “Rainbow”. Toddlers were engaged in colourful activities. Song and rhymes of 7 colours were sung and children enthusiastically participated in the show & tell activity. Indeed, every day was filled with happiness and glee.
Investiture Ceremony: Students of Grade IV-V while taking oath as Head boy/ Head girl, Deputy Head boy/ Deputy Head girl and Prefects.
Urdu Competition: Students of Grade V actively participated in Mawaraat competition and secured three different positions.
A Day with Grandparents: A Day with grandparents was organized by students of grade 2 where they listened to the interesting things about their old times and asked more questions about their queries.
Urdu Competition (Nazam Goyi): Students of Grade IV actively participated in Nazam Goyi competition and secured positions.
Plantation: Plantation activity by Pre-Nursery’s.
Virtual Interview with a Vet (PBL Project Part): As a part of PBL projects ‘Endangered Animals,’ an online interview session was arranged with a renowned Veterinarian from Toronto Canada, Dr. Arif Memon, who talked to the students and answered their queries.
Musical Theater: A special musical theatre play on "Professor Piper" was organized by GREEN EYE Production from classes 3 till 5.
Assembly Presentation “Wheels on the Bus”: Our toddlers were dressed in cocomelon shirts to perform on the song “Wheels on the bus”.
Urdu Zehni Aazmaish: Students of Class IIII actively participated in Urdu Zehni Aazmaish Competition.
Cultural Day: Students of Grade II to V dressed up in Sindhi dresses and shared unique things about our Sindh and participated in various activities on Cultural Day celebration.
Sing-along Poems: An outdoor music lesson was planned with some musical instruments to explore and sing their favourite rhymes.
Brain of General Knowledge Quiz Competition: We’re really proud of our students for getting to such higher stage and participating so actively.
Culmination Day: A Culmination Day was organized by the students of grade 1 on their STEM Project “Let’s Not Waste Food” where they shared their ideas about the small steps that can be taken at our end to reduce wastage of food through presentations and rallies.
Stem Project (The Moon in the Box): STEM teaches critical thinking and innovation along with that, STEM projects provide unique opportunities for Teamwork. The students of Grade IV made and presented "The Phases of Moon "Keep it up Young Scientists!
PBL Culmination Day: The first ever PBL Culmination Day was organized by the students of Grade 2 where they presented their understanding through various mediums: Infographic, newspaper, posters, Art work & power point presentation.
