Beaconhouse School System Kindergarten Campus Latifabad Mid-Year Newsletter 2021-2022 Head Mistress’s Note, I want to extend to you and your family my very warm greetings, hope you had a wonderful winter-break. The New Year marks the beginning of a yet another challenging journey into the education of these tiny tots, I hope the coming session is going to be as exciting as the previous one. Thank you. Let’s look back at the highlights of this term at kindergarten. Light In The Dark Happy and excited faces evidently say that they have waited a lot for the school to reopen. Silent classes filled with giggles and stagnant swings welcomed the life back to school.

I am Patriotic: Remembering the struggle of our founding leaders on this day with a resolution to build a brighter future for the homeland.

We are Second to None: Our little soldiers pledged to defend the country paying tribute to the martyrs of 1965 War.

Peace Day: “If we have no peace, it is that we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” Mother Teresa.

Pajama Party: A cozy pajama party was arranged for the students of Kindergarten to inculcate healthy sleeping habits and assert independence among children.

Character Builder: Paying tribute to the people who inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill the love of learning.

The unusual sight at Junior Athletics: Junior athletics is all about healthy competition and instilled the spirit of sportsmanship. Level wise mini sports events were organized to provide an opportunity to have fun and be playful.


Mom’s Talk: Frequent collaboration and communication between mothers and teachers are significant to stay apprised of what is happening at school and what specific strategies will help the children reach to their highest potential.

Global Hand Washing Day: For the last two years, hand washing was the most emphasized healthy habit. Our students celebrated the Global hand washing day with a meaningful role play.

Birthday Celebrations: Birthdays are always fun that’s why we celebrate not only our students’ but this year we celebrated uncle Ted’s too. A perfect time to enjoy the cake and play party games.

Library Activity: The art of story-telling and extempore speaking displayed in the international library day activity.

Old is Gold: Grandmas are the best story-tellers, Nursery students enjoyed interesting stories with their grandmas and created a memorable souvenir with their hand prints.

Mehfil-e-Milaad: The most divine event of the year with young and innocent children was reciting Naats in honor of the Prophet Mohammad Peace be upon him.

Reel and Wheel Day: The first cinema experience on wheels for our toddlers with popcorns and yummy lunch during interval.

Sparkling Stars: To showcase the emerging talent of our rocking beaconites, the whole week was celebrated with amazing performances by all students. Celebrating Diversity at Global Dignity Week: Each and every individual regardless of race, ethnicity, culture or status has a right to lead a dignified life. Throughout the year we promote the culture of equality and respect in our school.


Poet of the East: Allama Mohammad Iqbal, more than a mere poet, wrote many writings to enlighten the path for our future generations, leaving everlasting impact and guiding them to become a better person and a perfect Muslim.

Our Mother Tongue: Urdu is a sophisticated language and a symbol of prestige for us therefore, we recognize and celebrate the rich heritage of prose and poetry each year during Urdu week.

Health is Wealth: Vaccines are important for protecting children against infectious diseases such as measles and rubella. They boast the immune system and serve as a preventive shield. What better way could be then to get it in a friendly and familiar environment of school.

Challenge my Talent: Healthy competition inspires students to do their best and become more inquisitive. We encourage our students to participate not just in school based but in national competitions to make them ready for the challenges of the future.

Music of Children’s Day: Children day was celebrated to spread awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children around the world. Children enjoyed an amazing magic show with school fellows.

Celebrating the rich Culture of Sindh: Sindhi cultural day was celebrated to promote Sindhi language, history, heritage and culture with a Sindhi morning assembly.

Let’s Play: Students of Nursery showed up with their favorite toy at School Toy Party and told the audience what they liked the most about it.

Up Coming Events: We are excited to announce the upcoming events; Open day, Annual concert, Mother’s Day and many more.
