The First Word More Activities, New Experiences The first term ends with a note of Wishing a very Happy New Year, satisfaction, with improvement in and a restful winter break to all academics and various activities, our students and parents. which kept our students’ spirits high. News &Events First Aid Training Session The importance of first aid training in a school environment is beneficial in dealing with any emergency situation. A two day training session was held in the first week of December 2019, at the A levels branch, where officials from the Pakistan Red Crescent Society trained a group of 30 students . . Lamya Khan

Visit to the Orphanage

AS students got the opportunity to serve the community by arranging winter clothing, and food for the children of the orphanage Dar ul Falah. The children were also entertained with a movie show.The visit on 29th November, 2019, was arranged by the Social Service Club and the money was raised through the entrepreneurship project ,carried out by the Business group students. Friendly Cricket Match Physical Activities play a dominant role in school life. Beaconhouse prudently provides sports opportunities to its students. A friendly cricket match between students and staff teams, was organized on 28th November 2019, The main purpose of the match was to create healthy relationship and coordination between students and staff in a lively atmosphere. Author in Spotlight We are proud to announce that, Alishba Barech, our AS student made her mark, this September, as an author . Her book is available on Amazon as an e-book. She honed in her writing skills from an early age, she had the privileged to be guided by our competent faculty. Alishba’s potential was reflected throughout her school years, culminating in the form of a novel. We hope the students get time to read her book, online. Miraal binte Khalid

AKU information session As a part of Career Counselling our A-Level management organized a session with one of our recently graduated student Saiqa Khan. She got admission in Aga Khan University MBBS program. She highlighted the key steps of applying at AKU and discussed the procedure of creating an academic profile and talked about Entry test preparation tips It was an informative session. Bonfire On 16th November, a Bonfire Evening with a barbeque dinner, was organized for the students of O and A Levels in the school premises.. The students and staff depicted their culture by wearing traditional dresses. Live music was played by a group of prominent musicians, led by Mr. Nawazish. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all , and ended with a lively Attan dance by the students Manahil Panezai and staff. .

Parliamentarian Style Debate Debates play a pivotal role in promoting public speaking skillsof our students.. Beaconhouse provides its students with ample opportunities to groom themselves as confident speakers and wholesome personalities.. A session of Parliamentarian Style Debate was held at BCCJ in the month of October, organized by the Debating Society. . The motion presented for the debate was ‘Artificial intelligence is a threat to Humanity’. The event reflected our students’ ability to put forth their views and arguments, keeping within the boundaries of the debate rules. Sunaila Ansari
