Message of the month Dear Parents, This month children will be introduced to a new theme that is “Sounds.” During this month students will be involved in a variety of activities through which they will get to know about environmental as well as speech sounds. Student will be given awareness of the following musical instruments in this domain.

Mathematical Development Students will go through the following:  introduction of number 8.9 and 10  Count and match numbers up till 9  Numbers before and after 1-9  Sequencing of numbers 1-9

Creative Development (Art) Students will explore and gain competency in using variety of techniques through following activities i.e.  

poster making Drawing 2D models of musical instruments

before and after

the meals. 

Following the steps involved in cleaning hands.

Importance of table manners.

Communication, Language & Literacy Students will be given an awareness through interactive activities about the following:  identifying main events and characters in the story “The Noisy Baby”.  raising and answering simple questions from the story ““The Noisy Baby”.  using language and vocabulary associated with .communicating needs  retelling the story using relevant vocabulary  recognizing the letters sounds of “g”,‘o”,”u” and “l”  recognizing letters “g”,‘o”,”u” and “l” & their related vocabulary.  holding a pencil/crayon using an efficient grip.
