Message of the month Dear Parents, We are delighted to announce that accomplishing and purposeful year 2018-19 has come to an end. Throughout the year students have shown remarkable progress in all areas of learning. They have become more independent learners and feel comfortable to share their views and ideas during discussions.. During this month students will be given an opportunity to reinforce all the learnt concepts and topics through a variety of challenging activities .As the Summers have started so there are few tips for students to “Beat the Heat”. 1. Keep yourself hydrated and drink at least 4-5 glasses of water per day. 2. Wear lightweight and light coloured clothes. 3. Use sunglasses and umbrellas when going out.

Personal, Social, Health & Emotion Students will be given an awareness about the following :  Revision of Tauz and Tasmiya with English translation.  Revision of First Kalima with English translation.  Names of five prayers.  Importance of taking turns, sharing ideas, expressing needs & emotions  Discussion about being kind to each other to make the society happy and peaceful.

Mathematical Development Students will be reinforcing the following: Creative Development (Art)  Reinforcement of numbers 1-10 and their values . Students will explore and gain competency in  Sequencing numbers 1-10 using a variety of techniques:  Reinforcement of the following concepts before and after, tall and short, big and small, on and under.  painting and pasting while making abstract art pieces.  Picture addition .  cutting and folding paper and making greeting cards.

Communication, Language & Literacy Theme: animals and their characteristics Students will be given awareness through interactive activities about the following:  Reinforcement of letter sounds a-z 

Knowledge & Understanding of the World Students will be reinforcing the following concepts Identification of placement of sounds in three letter words i.e. (starting , middle and ending)  Identify and name the body parts while reading three letter words through break-  Identify and name five senses associated with the body organs. ing and blending strategy.  Identify and name the sources of light.
