Message of the month Dear Parents, This month students will be introduced to a new theme that is “Animals.” During this month students will be involved in a variety of activities through which they will get to know about the different types of animals e.g. pet, wild, farm and sea animals. Students will be given awareness about the animals and their homes, the food they eat, their young ones and how to take care of them through a variety of interesting activities. In reference to animals theme, they will observe a variety of animals through videos and power point presentations which will offer them a chance to learn more about the characteristics of animals. For this purpose a “Pet Show” will be arranged in which the students will bring a pet to school and will talk about their pets. In addition to this, an opportunity will be provided to the students to indulge into dramatic roleplay activities i.e.an “Animal Parade” will be organized in which students will be dressed up in the costume of their favourite animal and will be given the opportunity to speak infront of the audience about their favourite animal. During this month the students will go through an interesting story book “Big Red Bath", through which they will get to know about the different types of Animals.

Parental part in the learning of a child is very important. To make the theme more appealing, parents can also pour in their contribution. For instance: by taking your child for a visit to zoo or safari. Encourage your child to notice different types of animals. Involve him/her by discussing about the animals they see during their visit. Etc. Regards, Administration.
