Pets as Partners and Friends
This year back to school party had a new touch that made it more lively and colourful. This time parents were also a part of KG section’s "back to school Party" on 28th August. Different activities were planned for them and they enjoyed their day while helping their children in activities.
Students of grade I learned about pet animals, their habits and the food they eat for the whole week. At the end of the week a jubilant "Pet Day" was celebrated on December 4, 2015. Children wore headbands and masks of different animals. They shared their pets' habits and sang songs.

Let’s Do Something Nice
Students of KG section celebrated "Nutty Week" in the month of December. Different activities were designed by the teachers to give students awareness about the importance of different nuts in winter. Young learners shared their presentations with senior teachers in staff room.
Ethics are a part of our lives but we need to have a refresher every once in a while. "Do Something Nice Day" was also such an effort and was celebrated with great enthusiasm on October 5 as a whole school activity. Students of different classes planned and conducted different activities to promote the theme of the day. Students of XI C conducted a workshop about ethical values for young Beaconites. XC students mowed the lawn to help the gardener and class III prepared and gave thank you cards to junior staff.
It is always a privilege to be with you and share our achievements and experiences of the term. In Beaconhouse all that we do is underpinning three values of Relationships, Respect and Responsibility and I have every confidence that our pupils have the skills, the character and the attitude to achieve their ambitions in life. This year heralded a major review and we are proud of the superb achievement of those pupils who have reached the pinnacle of success by achieving best CEI O Level results in the southern region. Our leading stars scored 35 A* and 26 A. And it is not just that batch, in and outside every classroom, pupils continue to participate with wonderful enthusiasm and success in the wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities. I wish to pay tribute to the hard work of pupils, staff and parents and hope even more from them. Thank You Anjum Kaiwan
