Swim Abilities program is for participants with special needs. While this program uses the progressions in the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program, the performance criteria for each level have been broken down into smaller, more manageable progressions to create a positive learning environment and make the success of each swimmer more achievable. The progressions have been created to progress swimmers with special needs slowly and at their own rate while adapting the program according to their abilities and needs. SWIM ABILITIES PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS 30 MINUTES $21.00 PER CLASS (PARENTED/SUPERVISED)
These 30-minute private lessons are here for swimmers who may need one-off lessons to accommodate various attention spans, abilities, and scheduling needs. NOW OFFERING SWIM ABILITIES GROUP CLASSES 45 MINUTES $84.00 FOR 8 CLASSES (PARENTED/SUPERVISED)
These 45-minute group classes are for swimmers with special needs that still want to have the experience of participating in a group setting. With small classes swimmers will have the experience of a group class while still getting one on one instruction time with their instructor. To help meet the needs of our Swim Abilities candidates, we have changed our inquiry and registration process.
