BARRE

RESTORATIVE AQUA

SYNRGY CIRCUIT

A low impact class inspired by Dance, Yoga, and Pilates. Barre classes focus on posture, targeting stabilizing muscles and high repetition of small, but precise movements.

This class will develop balance and body alignment by focusing on corrective biomechanics, using water resistance to safely enhance your workout.

Are you curious about how to properly and effectively use our new Synrgy 360 training rig at the entrance of the BSRC Fitness Centre? Come learn some of the various workout options in a small group class environment! The focus will be circuit based (interval) training, with endurance, strength and cardio aspects. We will be using free weights, TRX, battle ropes, rope pulls, cables and much more! Come and give this short 6-week program a try, no matter what your experience level!

SPEEDY, AGILITY, POWER This class is designed for our Young Athletes (12-19 years old). A combination of a warm-up system, Dynamic running, Top End Speed Mechanics and Sprint Application. Lateral Shuffles, Change of Direction, and Crossover Acceleration. Develop the skills you need to be at the top of your game.

Get your heart pumping and your body moving with our brand-new kickboxing class! Proper martial arts techniques mix with fast-paced cardio for this engaging class designed for all fitness levels. Build stamina, improve coordination, and have fun with this energizing and challenging workout.

Come join our new Strollercize class! A combination of low impact cardio, strength and endurance. A variety of exercises from speed walking to baby lifting, while keeping the main focus on the pelvic floor for a healthy recovery. It is for all levels of fitness, preferably 6 weeks post-partum.

WATER BABIES Enjoy a full body workout and some fun with your baby! This class will allow parents to get a great workout AND enjoy time with their little one at the same time, while your baby is in our supportive “baby boats”. Notes: For smaller babies, please feel free to bring an extra towel for more support around the baby. Please dress your baby in a standard swim diaper. Baby boats are provided. Babies must be able to hold up their own head upon registering in the class. 8969

Have a mid-week workout for yourself with the perfect class to realign your spine and release those sore spots! 30 minutes of Pilates strength and flexibility focus on achieving spinal mobility, then followed by 15 minutes of overall body stretching. All levels welcome! 8965

LOW INTENSITY: RPE: 2-5- classes rated as low intensity typically use low impact movements. You are still comfortable performing exercises while challenging yourself, and you can carry a conversation during class. RPE - Rate of Perceived Exertion

MODERATE INTENSITY: RPE 6-8 – classes rated as moderate intensity use variations of both high and low impact exercises, also can be dependent on the participant’s preferred modifications. Comfort zones are pushed while you are starting to get short of breath and only maintain brief conversation.

HIGH INTENSITY: RPE 8-10 – classes rated as high intensity use variations of both high and low impact exercises reaching very difficult to maintain effort levels. This effort level will make you unable to maintain conversation, and leave you out of breath while pushing your limits!
