floral love
With a hint of spring in the air, Salon System nail expert Caroline Roberts, owner of Nail Fairy, shows us her pretty floral nails that are simple for you to recreate.
Treat your clients to a single accent nail or go full flourish as a Mothering Sunday treat. Caroline has created this look using Salon System’s Gellux products.
Step #1
Prep the nails and push back the cuticles. Shape and buff the natural nail bed with a grey and yellow buffer. Dust and wipe the nails with Gellux Prep and Wipe and then apply a thin layer of Gellux Fast Bond.
Step #2
Using a dotting tool, place a dot on each nail applying different shades of Gellux. For the thumb, apply Gellux Mini Berry Burst, on the index apply Gellux Mini Flirty Fuchsia. Use Gellux Mini Dusty Lilac for the middle finger, then for the ring finger, apply again Gellux Mini Berry Burst and lastly, for the pinky use Gellux Mini Flirty Fuchsia.
Afterwards, slightly drag the dots to create a little tail. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #3
Using the same colours for each of the fingers, use a thin liner art brush to create squiggles in a staggered circle to create that rose look.
Cure the nails for 60 seconds.
Step #4
Repeat the above steps on each finger but using the colours in a different order.
For the thumb, apply Gellux Mini Flirty Fuchsia, on the index finger, apply Gellux Mini Dusty Lilac, for the middle finger, apply Gellux Mini Berry Burst, then, apply Gellux Mini Flirty Fuchsia on the ring finger and lastly, apply Gellux Mini Dusty Lilac on the pinky.
Cure the nail beds for 60 seconds.
Step #5
Using a thin liner art brush, apply Gellux Slate Grey to create little grey leaves.
Cure for 60 seconds.
Step #6
For a glossy finish, apply Gellux Shiny Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds.
Wipe the sticky residue with Gellux Prep + Wipe before applying cuticle oil to finish.

AIT Accredited is a Must!
5 Reasons Why Having Your Courses
If you offer beauty or hair courses, AIT Accreditation is a simple, low cost way for your courses to stand out from the competition, demonstrating that your training is approved and endorsed, and letting your students know that your training has the seal of approval from AIT.
AIT accredit face-to-face and online education, enabling students to gain AIT insurance once they have successfully completed their qualifications with you. If you have your courses accredited by an alternative provider, you can also gain accreditation through AIT to further enhance your educational credentials.
The process is low cost and easy, with a dedicated AIT Accreditation team on hand to guide and support you throughout. There's also plenty of support once accreditation has been achieved, just contact us at accreditation@aitireland.com.
AIT accredit 1,000 brands, training providers and suppliers. When your courses become accredited you'll be entering into a relationship with Ireland’s largest beauty membership and insurance provider that currently represents 18,000 business owners, therapists, nail technicians, complementary therapy practitioners, hair stylists, barbers and students.
Five reasons to apply for AIT Accreditation
1. AIT charge a one-off fee*
AIT is the only membership provider to offer a one-off fee with no hidden charges, no annual renewal costs and no price per certificate issued to students. Your initial application can include up to 10 courses (€320), up to 15 courses (€510), up to 20 courses (€640) and over 20 courses (€760). If you wish to submit further courses for accreditation in the future, it costs just €50 per course.

3. Promote your business using the AIT Accredited Logo
Use the AIT Accredited logo to market yourself as an accredited trainer, and if you have your online courses accredited with AIT, you will also be able to use the AIT Online Accredited logo as well. Add our logo to your website, certificates, marketing materials and social media to highlight that your courses have been approved and endorsed.
4. Free online promotion from AIT
