ZRENJANIN Z renjanin is located on the western edge of the Banat loess
plateau, where the canalized River Begej flows into the former Tisza water course. The municipality’s land is characterized by its flatness. Zrenjanin is located in the center of the Serbian part of the Banat region, on the banks of the Rivers Begej and Tisza. Zrenjanin is approximately 70 kilometers from Belgrade and approximately 50 km from Novi Sad, which is also the distance to the current border with the European Union (Romania), making its location a particularly important transition center and potential resource in the north-south and east-west directions.
