緣起緣聚
序
「從⋯⋯開始」 力源自對概念的欣賞。
地產發展商邀請室內設計師作新樓的設計示範，已是司空見慣的事；一則是美化的手段，二則可使參觀示範者洞悉空間的發展潛力，三則有助普及大眾的設計意識。淺 月灣的設計概念乃由此而展，廣邀國際著名的室內設計師，為數十幢洋房作設計示範，以大規模地演示空間的新生力。
「延續⋯⋯」 淺月灣的地理位置優越，獨擁怡人美景︰遠觀蔚藍的天色與遼闊的山脈相接，受 彼岸的海風輕拂，在大自然的環抱下，暫忘生活的煩憂，陶醉於靜逸的樂土中。一眾 室內設計師，就環境的本質作先決考慮，並就終極所要達致的氣氛而 力，最終構成自然雅逸的整體感官。淺月灣的室內設計，乃設計師對理想生活的嚮往與幻想，而 深化的演繹。
歷經淺月灣之訪，步踏一眾設計示範，真是一睹一驚喜。這是構思作一本設計專集的起念。

現代社會逐漸遺忘的，是商業行為及事件背後蘊藏的細膩心思，那種不計時間的細心琢磨，使人倍覺珍貴。
「設計⋯⋯」 設計師一直在思考 ，如何在現代所建立的同質形式環境中，尋找另一種變異的樂趣和可能 ；在空間的實體與虛透之間，光與影之間尋求對比的美感。有機會進入能 突顯個人風格或發揮某種思想的空間時，定會感受到空間的張力。原屬中 的空間會蛻變成真正的人文生活。

Preface Where it begins...
Putting into Practice
It is the admiration and respect for the originality of ideas that inspired and motivated this project.
The "model house project" of Casa Marina became a gallery of interior design. From the building of the architecture, through the articulation of the interiors, to the final stage, the whole process has been a challenge of faith. It is a faith in architecture, design and ultimately in people, that makes this project possible.
It has become common for land development companies to invite interior designers to design model flats. On one level, it helps to show the strengths of a space and provides visitors a vision of the potential of the space. On another level, it helps to enhance the public's awareness as well as appreciation for design issues. A group of distinguished local designers were invited to design model houses for Casa Marina. The result was a large-scale exhibition of our new design force.
And continues Embracing enchanting scenery, Casa Marina enjoys indigenous geographical advantages. Looking out to the charming blue sky joining with the extensive mountain range, feeling the gentle breeze from the other side of the ocean, in the embrace of nature, one can for a moment forget all worries and anxiety, and simply absorb one's self in this tranquil land. While working out the final atmosphere they had in mind, these indigenous features were a prime factor for the designers. The final overall impression they have created is refined, natural and coherent. The interior design of Casa Marina is a deep articulation of the designers' longing for and imagination of ideal living. Those model designs were full of delightful surprises, and this was where the concept of this book originated.
This book holds the same faith. This faith values ever-evolving concepts, a passion for creative activities and sincerity. What we have gradually forgotten in modern society is the thoughtfulness and sincerity hidden behind commercial activity and products. The commitment involved is precious.
About design These are the questions that a modern designer always has in mind: How to achieve differences and explore new possibilities in the homogeneous environment modernity has built? How, through balance and contrast between substance and the abstract, illumination and shadow, can aesthetics be achieved? When one enters a space that allows individual style or carries a certain ideology, one feels the tension in the space. A place assumed to be neutral can then be transformed into a lively aspect of humanity.

前言
建築從來都不是高不可攀的。優秀的設計師會懂得把建築生活化、把設計 日常化，讓人感受真善美的實踐。建築設計就是順應氣候、環境、地理、 文化，以及最終所要達致的生活模式等因素切換轉化。
淺月灣位於吐露港灣畔，前臨遼闊的海港景緻，四周環抱青蔥山巒，飽 覽大自然的開揚美景，並盡享宏魄的氣度。置於水秀山明的環境中，自 能感受心凝形釋的愉悅與快慰。「淺月灣別墅」就是取於先天之助，據 勢而立；群屋相鄰而置，內園的池林景緻，與大自然的水天山色相融， 使達致一體化的視效。
理想設計的出現，必先歷經對已往的悟省、現況的領略與未知的嚮往， 這種不能預計，卻使抱有希望的力量，就是設計師仍一直渴求的 力，為 「淺月灣別墅」作設計示範的一眾國際知名室內設計師，透過多項元素 如色、料、光、影等互融，以圖呈示空間的豐碩。
空間富有縱向感，也具有橫向感。設計師在建構「淺月灣別墅」的理想 時，並不根據既定的原則，以在不受任何架構規限下，創製意料之外的 驚喜。設計有的以閃爍晶瑩的瑰麗燈飾，顯露尊貴高雅的格調；有的擇 取泰式的設計原韻，以木質、色豐，以及布藝的選配，呈現泰式意味； 有的趨向時尚簡約的設計特質，以黑、白作主調，添上型、實的式格， 或以白作底畫，塗抹點點色彩，為空間躍進 力；有的依循華洋雜處的風 尚，再添上新元素，以為傳統添置新裝；有的滲溢歐式的古雅浪漫，流 散飄逸的情態。就是源於設計師對生活的不離不棄，不斷演練多姿的元 素，使無止與多變的概念益發。
常言道︰設計的履行是為 滿足實際的需要，理想的追求是要肯定存在的 價值。生活就是繫於相互扣連的一種情態。致力將有生命的想往，滲入無 情的呆物中，使賦予新生的機遇。
「淺月灣別墅」所標示的已不只是理想的塑造，推而是自然環境與設計勢 力並存推演，而生的一種新知。

Introduction Architecture never is too high to reach. A good designer knows how to integrate architecture and design into our everyday life, allowing us to experience the practice of the true, the good, and the beautiful. Doing architectural design is to think according to the changing circumstances of weather, environment, geography, culture and the mode of living envisioned, and to let these elements interact. Casa Marina lay along Tolo Harbour. It fronts on the sea and is embraced by a mountain range in charming green. It enjoys unreserved beautiful natural scenery, as well as its generosity of spirit. Being in such an enchanting environment, one can feel the joy and pleasure of a freed mind and a contented heart. Casa Marina possesses these innate strengths and stands at a vantage point. The houses are arranged as an intimate neighborhood. The scenery of the gardens and fountains merges with nature's beauty as one unified view. An ideal design must be built upon reflection of the past, understanding of the present and the longing for the future. This unforeseeable yet expected strength is the force designers always long for. The renowned international interior designers, who participated in Casa Marina's model house project, used and mixed multi-elements like color, material, light and shadow to present the richness of space. A space is both vertical and horizontal. While they were constructing the ideals of Casa Marina, the designers did not hold to any rigid principle. Working under no fixed frameworks, they were able to produce pleasant surprises. Some of the houses are decorated with glittering, radiant lamps presenting a prestigious elegant style. Some adopt Thai style as the foundation, applying wooden material, rich colors and textiles to create the feel of Thailand. Using black and white as key tones, some are modern and simplistic. Forms and shapes are used, or colors are applied on the white base to animate the space. Some are in the style of east-meets-west. New elements are added revitalizing the traditional. Some of the houses are filled with European classical romanticism effusing a sense of sensual relaxation. It is because of the designers' persistence and attachment towards our real life, and their continuous articulations of the fascinating design elements that limitless and ever changing concepts prolific. It is often said that the exercise of design is to serve down-to-earth needs. To pursue ideals is to recognize the value of our being. Our living is in a mode in which the two link up together: we dedicate ourselves in transfusing our wishes and desires of life into affectless objects, to inspire them, to animate them. Casa Marina symbolizes not only the pursuit of ideals, but also a new kind of knowledge generated by the concurrence of natural environment and design influence.
