Greetings from the CE DIRECTOR

With each new season Community Education brings you new class offerings! We are excited to reveal our new Summer/Spring line up. Our staff has been working extremely hard to provide you with another round of quality education and exciting new programming to meet the needs of all ages.

Within this brochure you will find some fabulous cooking classes with Instructor, Tess Georgakopolous such as, Creamy Tuscan Gnocci with Chicken and Homemade Bread OR our health related courses such as Techniques to Activate your Brain’s Creativity Center by Janice Novak. We have classes that are back by popular demand such as our Defensive Driving Classes where you can save 10% on your car insurance OR the Online American Sign Language course. But, what I am most excited about is the fact that Bemidji introduced Pickle Ball to the community this fall and we have open court times for you to book and enjoy! What a great multi-generational sport that you can play indoors or outdoors all year long in our community. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

Two other classes that I want to highlight are the Drum Fit class with Cathy Marcotte and the Mystery DIY Craft Kits for Adults. I am amazed each and every month when the kit is revealed at how trendy and hip the craft is! It’s the perfect kit to buy if you want to have a fun girls night event or just need something to get your creative juices going this winter. And then there’s the Drum Fit…Check out our facebook page/Drumfit to see what that is all about.

If that doesn’t look like a fun way to work out I don’t know what does! Come and try it!

You will find just a sprinkling of our youth, aquatics, early childhood, and school age childcare programming in this brochure. It is always evolving and your best bet to keep up to date is to join our social media sites and hop on our website for all the information, as we post it. Contact one of our Facilitators to learn more about our programs and to answer any questions.

We can’t wait to see you at one of our Community Education classes this season!

Sincerely, Rachel Amdahl Community Education Director, ISD31
