Num edifício cuja história está intimamente relacionada com a tradição vitivinícola local, o Museu apresenta dois espaços expositivos distintos, loja que congrega a oferta de vinhos da Região Demarcada de Bucelas, tintos da Região de Lisboa e Rota de Vinhos Bucelas, Carcavelos e Colares, e o Centro de Documentação Camilo Alves. A place dedicated to the local history and the promotion of the land, follows the alignment of this region’s characteristic wine, which was denominated by decree on March 3rd, 1911. Installed in a building with a history intimately related to the local viticulture tradition, The Wine and Vine Museum in Bucelas showcases a display oriented towards the divulgation of the local history and the promotion of its traditions and values, centred around the characteristic regional wine and the most important wine grape used in its production, the arinto, which terrains have been demarked here since 1911. It reveals two distinct exposition areas, as well as the Camilo Alves Documentation Centre and a visitors’ shop selling the wines from the Bucelas Demarked Region, along with others from the surrounding regions of Lisbon, Carcavelos and Colares.

Já considerada como uma das maiores galerias de arte urbana da Europa, a Galeria de Arte Pública (GAP) da Quinta do Mocho, em Sacavém, reúne mais de cem trabalhos, de grandes dimensões, de diversos artistas nacionais e estrangeiros, que de forma espontânea se foram associando ao Município de Loures, nesta intervenção social, cujo objetivo era alterar a imagem deste território marcado pelo estigma de ser um “bairro social”. Urban Art is a present day trade mark of Loures Municipality. Already considered as one of Europe’s largest urban art galleries, the Quinta do Mocho Public Art Gallery in Sacavém gathers more than one hundred large size works from both Portuguese and international artists, that spontaneously associated with the Loures Municipality around a valid social intervention project, aiming to change the image of a zone long scarred by a “projects” stigma.
