MSP Consulting Group provides Accounting and Bookkeeping services for small- and mid-size businesses and also for nonprofits and individuals. MSP is locally owned and operated by Stephen L. (“Steve”) Palmerio, a CPA who has over 40 years experience in the industry, proudly providing the Marple Newtown community with quality services.
Steve has enjoyed his career as a CPA. He likes working directly with people and helping them keep their financial records in order. It puts a smile on his face when “the books” balance, everything ties out, and he provides his clients with everything they need.
A Broomall resident since the early 1960s, Steve attended Cardinal O’Hara High School and especially enjoyed the Bookkeeping course he took in his senior year. He took that as a sign he might like a career as an Accountant, so in college at St. Joseph’s University, he pursued and earned a B.S. in Accounting. His intuition was correct: He has been a CPA since 1977. MSP Consulting Group also prepares and files Federal and State tax returns for businesses and individuals. To ensure those returns are accurate and take advantage of all eligible deductions, Steve’s firm also provides tax law advice and tax planning. The third type of service MSP offers is management consulting and advisory services for businesses and individuals. Areas of expertise include selecting, setting up and training in accounting software, and computer systems hardware and networking.
