Meat of pork with sauce of tomato. 2. Chicken wings. 3. Spanish omelette. 4. Sandwich of loin. 5. Crumbs with sausage and peppers. 6.”Pinchitos”; it is a meat of pork inserted in a stick. 7. Anchovies. 8. Potato salad. 9. Meatballs. 10. Rice. Local wine: Establishment where you can go with friends or family at night but only during a few months of the year to have a few glasses of local wines .
ACTIVITIES We can practice different sports in our local sports centre: football, basketball, handball, climbing, etc. The Sports centre includes a few facilities which have specialized machines to do diverse exercises. After exercising you can relax in the sauna. In the suburbs of Baza we have a few athletics tracks where you can practice high jump, running, relays, hurdles, etc.
ENTERTAINMENT In Baza, there is a cinema in the town center.
Also, we have our local festivals in the month of September: “El Cascamorras”.
In Baza, there are hiking trips, which can also be done by bike, to the Sierra de Baza, Zújar and our surroundings.
The festivities last for 10 days and one of them is the day of the patron saint of the city. The fairground is divided into two zones: Deckhouses and attractions.
There are also places where we can practice the famous Andalusian dance: “Sevillanas and Flamenco”.
On fair days horse exhibition events are also held.
