President’s Message

This year’s International President’s theme is “Follow your Dream.” “Don't let anyone steal your dreams, or try to tell you your dreams are impossible. We face many challenges. Even as we dream of a world where no need goes unmet, our dream stands in stark contrast to reality. But dreams are not achieved overnight. Dare to dream, and work hard to achieve that dream”, President Barry Palmer. All of us as members of the Wasaga Beach Lions Club have helped many people have their needs met and allowed them to follow their dream. We have helped our community to follow its dream of a community RecPlex, arena, medical centre, and library and assisted youth within our community. We work as hard as we do because we are.... L oving I ndividuals O ffering N eeded Service to our local community and those around the world. Let's have a great year and have fun while helping others! The Wasaga Beach Lions Club along with Lioness Sandy Barr (Wasaga Beach Lioness) and Lioness Joan Crowell volunteered 82.5 hrs to make this happen. Our club does these tests annually for the junior kindergarden students so that have the best start in their education. Photo: Lion Suzanne Lacombe, Vision Screening with her grandson, Langdon
