Fort Bliss Child & Youth Services (CYS) welcomes you! Child & Youth Services’ mission is to provide affordable, high-quality age-appropriate recreational and learning programs that incorporate character building concepts through activities and social interaction for all children. When you enroll your children at Fort Bliss, you begin new experiences and relationships. CYS has a responsibility to protect the health, safety and well-being of your child. Child Development Centers

There are different services for children base on their age. Child Development Services are for ages 6 weeks to kindergarten, they provide on-post child care with full-day, part-day and hourly care, in nationally accredited environments. There are five Child Development Centers located on the installation. They are East Bliss CDC, Logan CDC, Main CDC, Milam CDC and Replica CDC. Follow on social media @BlissCYS. School Age Services

School Age Services (SAS) facilities are for grades 1-5 and offer before and after school care, care during school closures, seasonal and holiday school breaks and summer camps. There are two SAS facilities, Bliss School Age Center (SAC) and Milam School Age Center (SAC). Youth Centers

Youth Centers, for grades 6-12, are top quality neighborhood middle school and teen centers offering free programs. They operate afterschool, on non-student school days and on Saturdays. Youth Sports Plex offers team sports for ages three to 18 years of age that compete on Fort Bliss and in El Paso youth leagues. There are fitness classes weekday afternoons between 3 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for youth ages 10 to 18 years of age, and ongoing programming such as Homeschool P.E. classes.

Volunteer coaches are always needed in the Youth Sports program to help make the program a success. Coaches must be certified by National Alliance for Youth Sports (NYSCA). SKIESUnlimited is an acronym for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” for the unlimited possibilities this program can offer Army children and youth. SKIES classes are available to children and youth — from four weeks old to adolescence — in dance, gymnastics, music, fine arts, swimming and more!

Family Child Care (FCC) provides quality home based care for children ages 4 weeks to 12 years old and is offered in government owned and government leased housing located on post. FCC offers unique options to families such as flexible hours, full/part day, overnight/extended care in a home setting. FCC also offers a 15% cost savings over traditional center-based care.
