Vibrant. Authentic. Open-minded. A modern interpretation of luxury. For us luxury brand and store design means: aesthetic intimacy.
Founded in 1989 blocher partners stands for connecting experiences to make space happen – impressive but responsible architecture, unique and timeless but always user-centered interior designs. Inspired by rich cultural diversity transdisciplinary teams of architects, interior and product designer, sociologist and communication experts create spaces that encourage interactions.
Since its foundation luxury designs have always been part of blocher partners projects. The brand embodies a recognizable aesthetic and an extraordinary attention to detail that delivers dynamic shop designs of the highest standard. The look is extravagant while soft and elegant at the same time. Playful mixes of contrasts and carefully curated accessoires never lose their ease combined with high-grade materials and purist colour concepts. Without robbing them of the scope to appear to their full effect, the shop designs reflect the high quality of luxury products.
For us luxury brand and store design means: aesthetic intimacy. Carrying a feeling of sophistication, spontaneity and sensuality our elegant, unique store design continues down to the smallest detail. We believe in redefining luxury with every new project, so that the design always reflects the brand’s individuality. Our pared down aesthetic focuses on timeless and sustainable concepts where quality and construction speak for themselves. We don’t just talk about luxury, we shape it.

The timeless elegance and superlative quality of Bucherer’s handmade products and exclusive selection of luxury watches come together in the new design for its store in Hamburg, which also reflects the Hanseatic city’s maritime atmosphere.

Right on Dusseldorf’s Königsallee the Bucherer store fits right in after a redesign, which added a homely atmosphere to the exclusive shopping experiences for which the Swiss watch and jewellery expert is known.

With the spectacular conversion of its Nuremberg store Breuninger has made a statement that can be read as a clear commitment to stationary retail. The look: exclusive and futuristic.

Right on the Jungfernsteig promenade Bucherer inhabits a prominent location in Hamburg. The interior design employs shades of blue, copper and wood to reflect the Hanseatic city’s maritime atmosphere and give a local touch to the store concept, which was developed by blocher partners back in 2010 and has been gently refined over the ensuing years.
The visitors encounter a world of timeless elegance and style: Ceiling-high, copper-coloured panels frame the shop windows on the ground floor, giving the rooms a Moorish character. The Bucherer trademark, interpreted as a figure-eight knot, is etched onto the surface of the panels, whose aesthetic structure beautifully reflects natural light.
The elegance of the hand craftsmanship of Swiss watch and jewellery company Bucherer welcomes visitors the moment they step through the door to the Dusseldorf store: High ceilings and an open-plan sales area create a sense of monumental expanse. Portals made of white marble and deployed to dramatic effect shorten lines of vision in the wide spaces to generate a homely feel especially on the first floor. Central furnishings in terrazzo and exposed concrete, highlighting the ware like works of art. Carefully curated home accessories accentuate the feeling of being at home – with a view from the lounge out over the Kö high street.
The premium zone with its jewellery and leather goods sections on the ground floor of Breuninger’s flagship store in Stuttgart has a purist and sophisticated feel to it. The bright natural stone floor and walls in white convey a sense of great spaciousness. The pared-back central furniture items made of natural stone and fair-faced concrete resemble monoliths placed in the expanse of the hall. The hard-edged contrasts created by these essentially rough materials are muted by colour and material highlights here and there. The result successfully combines the luxurious store for which the Breuninger brand stands with an exclusive shopping experience.
The growth in online retail makes the importance of stores you can really experience all the more tangible: The interior becomes a reflection of the brand stance and morphs into a hands-on brand experience. Precisely that has been created with the spectacular conversion of the Breuninger Flagship Store in Nuremberg. The look: exclusive and futurist. Alongside the Premium Womenswear Dept. on the second floor and the spectacular world of shoes in the basement, which covers 700 square metres and includes such luxury brands as Givenchy, Balenciaga and Chloé, the ground floor boasts a section for leather goods and spectacles, not to mention a confectionary outlet that emphasizes that Breuninger sees itself as a host.
