Scenario
This 100 year old park is located close to downtown Corona, the park has provided memories for generations of families. In recent years community use has decreased as problems of crime and vagrancy have increased.
Solution
BMLA used GIS and GPS to inform a backstory for a new conceptual master plan. We developed an analysis of local demographics, the park’s user area, existing trees and other supporting information.
Benefit
BMLA’s site design addresses specific uses and needs based on empirical data sourced from GIS. We can efficiently preserve natural features such as trees by digitally tagging the features and integrating them into our plans.
