I hope you've all had an amazing September filled with service, leadership and family! Thank you to all the outstanding penguins who have been working to promote key club through social media. I'd like to give a special shout out to Mary Zhen for working so quickly and efficiently to customize promotional graphics for each club. Thank you to everyone who attended Region Training Conference, I hope you had as much fun as I did! Fall Rally North is quickly approaching, are you ready? I'm excited to show everyone how spirited Division 34 South is! As we all get busier and increasingly occupied with SAT's, ACT's, school and college applications, I'd like to remind you all of the ability volunteering has to reduce stress. As always, if you are wanting to make a difference but unsure how; send me an email and we will work together to find something (whether it's a leadership role or volunteer program) that's interesting and fulfilling for you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments or concerns.

August

//helena chi, secretary @ los altos high school “I had an absolute blast at our August DCM! I got recognized as the officer of the month which was super awesome. After that, we started making posters for our division/ clubs and I had a lot of fun hanging out with many clubbers across all the schools in our division. I also got to talk to our previous LTG about many different topics and we got some donuts. I was surprised when Noori, our current LTG, gave me a spongy sparkle heart to have and we took many selfies! Overall, this August DCM was really great and I hope to see more you guys at the next one!

//cindy ho, member @ mountain view high school “Key Leader is one of the most unforgettable camps I've ever attended! You learn to redefine your definition of a leader, while being able to learn from the attendees around you too! Whether you're an officer or a member YOU are a leader, definitely don't miss out on the opportunity to attend Key Leader this year! One of the activities that we do at Key Leader is the obstacle course, where you overcome a number of obstacles with your team, and learn how it will relate to being a leader in real life. One of my favorite parts of doing the obstacle course is that everyone has to help each other in order to complete the course, and if one fails everyone else fails, it teaches you the importance of working with your team, because they are there to support you.

//jason leong, member @ los altos high school “Fall Rally North is one the best experiences I've ever had as a member of Key Club. I've gone twice now - its so much fun! You get to meet tons of spirited individuals from different clubs and divisions. You also get to learn about Pediatric Trauma Program, and how we support it greatly through the time and effort we spend at FRN. I hope to see you all there this year!
