Dress festive in December and raise funds
Throughout December Bournemouth Hospital Charity is inviting you to dress festive to raise vital funds. Wear your Christmas jumper, Santa hat or reindeer headband to work and make a minimum donation of £1 on our website or at the Charity Office.
Light up the Prom raises thousands for patients Over £5,000 was raised for Bournemouth Hospital Charity and Macmillan Caring Locally when hundreds of people attended our Light up the Prom event held at Bournemouth seafront at the end of October. The money will be split equally between the two charities; benefiting patients by helping to fund the Orchard Garden Project
Hundreds of people observed a moving two minutes silence while holding their light, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Bournemouth Hospital Charity Fundraising Officer, Barry Wilson, said: “We were really pleased with the amount of people that came to the event.” “We’d like to say a huge thank you to our volunteers who helped on the night, to Fairmile Grange, Christchurch, our corporate sponsors, and everyone who bought a light.”
