e are developing a garden adjacent to the new Jigsaw Building that patients and their families can use while undergoing cancer treatment. The garden will be in two parts; a courtyard garden adjacent to the new chemotherapy suite and a lakeside garden with a connecting sensory walkway. Our vision is to create a small oasis that patients and relatives can enjoy and steal a few moments of peace and quiet during busy treatment schedules. More than one in three people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime, so it is a disease that touches us all in some way. We believe that the new garden will be a fantastic resource for Bournemouth patients and do hope that you will be able to support us. B
