Book collection The library has a specialised collection of more than 12,000 titles in the field of architecture, urbanism and landscapearchitecture. There is also a large background collection of books and journals from the period 18801945.

Digital information? •
Digitization of information has expanded enormously in the last decades. So much that it is often forgotten that not everything can be found on the internet. Books and journals are still indispensable in the search for information.

In the Art and Design disciplines digitization of information is less common than in other disciplines. Every year thousands of books on these subjects appear and worldwide the number of architecture journals is around 800. Note that the majority is still published in printed form.

Catalogs and databases are available to retrieve and access information on books and journals. This mainly concerns bibliographical information leading to books and articles in journals. At the moment hardly anything is full text available (in a legal way), but we observe a slowly change on that point.

How can I print -Log in on the computer with your studentaccount -Select print -For colorprint choose printer: AHK-MFP-KLEUR op AHKSRV003 -But beware: default is black/white (zwart/wit) and double-sided (dubbelzijdig) -Adjust printer settings -Print -Wait for the announcement “Dit document is naar de printer verzonden� -Put your studentcard in the machine and wait for the print to come out. -For black&white print choose printer: AHK-MFP-ZWARTWIT op AHKSRV003 -PDF en big files takes a while. So be patient!
