Ellie the elephant thought he was the king of the Jungle because he was so big. He was very proud of his body. Ellie thought he could simply squash anybody under his feet. He often told Fleety the Finch, she was tiny. He told Ruby the rabbit that no one was intimidated by him! He told Tiggy the tiger that it had bad teeth and told Lory the Lion that it was too lazy. The animals felt sad but he indeed was the largest animal in the forest and nobody could deny it. One day while Ellie was complacently trotting around the forest he saw a swampy land full of mud and jumped in it but his entire body started itching
Squash: Trample Tiny: Very Small Complacent: Feeling of pride and bleeding immediately. The swamp was infested with insects and crocodiles and they were biting into Ellie’s skin. Ellie started crying. All the animals heard his calls and gathered to help him. While Fleety the bird and Ruby the rabbit picked out the insects from his body, Tiggy the Tiger and Lory the Lion fought the crocodiles with utmost bravery! They finally got Ellie out of the swamp and saved his life. Ellie realized size didn’t define everything. Everybody was powerful in their own way and he immediately apologized.
