Guffy the giraffe and Trutty the bird were best of friends. Guffy would often take his long neck to the high branches of the tree and chat with his best friend Trutty.. One day Guffy the Giraffe went missing. Trutty searched for his friend everywhere but she couldn’t find him. The weather was becoming windy and all animals were running to save their lives, when Trutty saw her nest falling down from the tree. Devastated, Trutty perched herself on a low lying branch and started weeping when he saw Guffy returning with a lot of branches and twigs. Trutty was really confused because she knew Giraffes didn’t make nests with branches and twigs. When she asked Guffy what he was doing with the twigs, Guffy replied “It is for you Trutty, not me!” I knew there was a storm brewing and had gone to collect branches and twigs so that you could build a nest again, without any difficulty! “Oh Guffy!” Trutty exclaimed. “I thought you deserted me in the time of need! I shall forever be grateful to you for your kind deed.”
