MELT & BQFF MESSAGE OF SUPPORT

MELT & BQFF Message of Support from Cr Vicki Howard Brisbane City Council is proud that our home for contemporary culture, Brisbane Powerhouse, is once again presenting MELT: A Celebration of Queer Arts and Culture and the 17th Annual Brisbane Queer Film Festival. These festivals hold a special place with the residents of our new world city, building on our great strengths of diversity and inclusion. I love attending films and live performances from LGBTI artists and this year I am especially excited about the inaugural MELT Picnic, a free day of fabulous fun, showcasing our wonderful city this summer.

Combining amazing songs, outrageous comedy and magnificent storytelling, Black Queen Black King will leave you “more moist than a chocolate cake”.
