Maker’s Month at Broward County Library
What Will YOU Create? All throughout September, Broward County Libraries will celebrate Maker’s Month with free, fun events for the whole family. The highlight will be a free, all-day S.T.E.A.M. Maker Festival on Saturday, September 26, from 10AM TO 6 PM at the Main Library. The festival will feature programs, makers from all over South Florida, a robot demonstration and workshops. Continue the fun into the evening with a free Art Walk at the nearby Flagler Arts and Technology Village. Broward County Library has received a “Latino Americans: 500 Years of History” grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association that provides funding for a series of events focusing on the history, traditions and cultural contributions of Latino Americans.

“Celebrating the Art of Community” will present its grand finale celebration, Duende, October 2-3 with a blowout weekend of music, dance, performances, family fun and more!
